    I'd be surprised if Asomugha doesn't end up being franchised. He may have had a down year stats-wise, but that's mostly because nobody really threw at him. He'll command a high price tag too if he gets onto the market.

    I think we can get just about anybody we want and keep whomever we choose to.

    We have about 9-11MM going in and restructures, LTBE's & not LTBE's, extensions & new deals etc etc can pretty much free up any kind of needed cash.

    I stopped trying to figure out cap management a long time ago after seeing how the Colts pretty much do as they please.

    Of course a team must be cognizant of staying at or near the cap - it's just that the flexibilty needed to restock a team, within reason, can be accomplished. Especially with Pioli & BB calling the shots.

    I agree the 10 mil we have is more than enough to work with to get what ever we need to get done including what could be a ridiculouss contract for asante if they were to deem that the smart way to spend.
