I thought it was a four-way race between Maryland, New Jersey, Illinois, and South Carolina. Honorable mention to Arizona and Connecticut; they do try ever so hard.

What exactly is a baptismal certificate or a postpartum medical record? How do those things prove that someone was born in the USA? The circumcision one cracks me up as well.

So if I have I child in Canada, drive to the USA, and have my baby baptized and circumcised in Michigan that is enough proof for the kid to be a US Citizen in Arizona?

This bill makes it easier for people to break the law.

These people are a bunch of brain dead savages. I'd like to see one of them try to get a passport or a visa with a circumcision record.

"So your applying for a passport do you have a birth cirtificut"

"No but i can prove i'm circumcised, here look"

As I mentioned in my prior post: Hospitals keep official records of circumcisions? Churches keep official records of baptisms? WTF?

As far as I know there are no official records for baptisms as you pay the church and they dunk your kids head in some water. Done.

Circumcision? Even if Hospitals keep records wouldn't they be treated as confidential based on the doctor/patient relationship?

Seriously ... all states should have some law to close any and all election loopholes. The line of who and what is an American and who is not is getting muddier.

Someone comes here 25 years ago illegally - lives here, works here, raises a family here ... an American? i would say yes but legally the answer is no. Some of these people could at some point in the future run for office with other motives - don't think it would not happen ... just saying. People should have to produce the same info for running for office as they would to get a passport ... proof of who exactly you are is not unreasonable to me.

What I'm about to say will probably tick off some of my fellow libs but..........

When you go to vote you must be asked for ID. I know that just about anyone can get a drivers license or State ID but at least ask for it for goodness sakes.

And we all wonder why both sides ***** and moan about voter fraud.

I have to show ID to get on a plane, buy alcohol, cigarettes and a bunch of other "normal" things. Why can I vote by telling the 75 year old woman that I'm "John Smith" on the voter list in my town?

For some reason i think churchs do keep baptismal records, the circumcision would be private undet HIPPA as a medical record.
