    #3 Jersey

In other words, do you see a bunch of teams trying to copy the Pats and try to find a Wes Welker--presumably in the late rounds--to bolster their offenses (catching near the LOS, blocking in the run game, etc.)? And, if so, any names that come to mind?

[We can presume the 'lphins won't bother, of course, or maybe they'll trade down to #9 and take one there. :D]

I don't think this is anything new. Teams have been using a slot receiver as part of their base package for twenty years. You just need the right quarterback, offensive system, and Randy Moss to utilize it to the effect that the Patriots did last season.

The Dolphins already have Camarillo. They don't need a new slot receiver. What they need is a receiver over 5' tall that doesn't dance when he catches the ball (Ted Ginn reference. Good first round draft pick, Dolphins!).

Even I don't know what you mean when you say "the new black". I think you should rephrase what your talking about.

    #24 Jersey

Levalle Hawkins from Cal. Caught everything thrown his way during senior week. 3rd-4th round guy, depending on who you ask.

What are you? Offended? If you can't understand the thread title then read the opening post of the thread itself. If you still don't understand, quit the internet.

If I call him a racist, can we split the winnings?

You seem more offended than I do. I really don't care, I just didn't understand what he meant until I looked it up, thanks to FIXIT.

No, you're offended and you need to admit it. Just take a seat. Have a seat.

    #50 Jersey

I think Darius Reynaud from West Virginia has terrific potential in a Welker or Kevin Faulk role. He's a RB/WR tweener with an RB build (5'09" 201) and excellent quickness and strength, and is a skilled and eager blocker.

Besides the aforementioned Dexter Jackson (rounds 3-4), Lavelle Hawkins (4-5) and Darius Reynaud (5-6), there's also RB/WR Chris Johnson (3-4), Eddie Royal (3-4), and Keenan Burton (5-6). And my UDFA hopeful, Paul Raymond of Brown University.

These are exactly - and the only - WRs I would target this year. If they can't return kicks, then I don't want 'em.

a perfect comparison to Welker is Davone Bess from Hawaii . He ran faster than expect but on field, he doesnt look very fast straight line but hes quick, tremendous hands and gets YAC. Hes also short
