At one point in time, before the late Al Davis was completely nuts, the Raiders were .800 over 15 years - about like the Patriots the past 14 years. Unlike the Patriots, they had plenty of players that law enforcement knew on a first-name basis - a felony conviction seemed to be a plus if you wanted to play for the Raiders.
Times have changed. It's been a dozen years since the Raiders have been in a SB. Al Davis is not resting in peace as his team is the NFL's worst. I suggest as far as physical, rogue teams with players constantly in trouble with the law, the Ravens are the new Raiders.
