I have yet to find 1 democrat that is excited about Martha Coakley.

On the other hand, I know a ton of people who usually vote the party
line for Democrats who are going to vote for Scott Brown.

I was driving around Saturday and I seen a ton of young people holding
    signs for Scott Brown.

My 82 year old Uncle is a life long union man....
His son & grandson are in the same union.
He always voted with the union... until today.
I thought it was a joke when I seen a Scott Brown
sign in his yard. I had to stop and go in and say hello.
He told me he liked Brown and he could not stand
Coakley. He is also a veteran of WW2 & Korea, so
maybe Browns ties to the National guard helped
    convince him.

I know there are quite a few people on this board that
would vote for Bin Ladin if he was a democrat.
I would like to know if you are excited about
Matha Coakley the Candidate or are you just going
to vote for her because she is a democrat.

From what I've seen, voting for Coakley would be the equivalent of a Republican voting for a cross between W and Palin. She's dumb as a rock; she couldn't possibly make this many mistakes if she were competent. I get that the Dems want to elect a Democrat but, my God, do they really want to elect an idiot ? I didn't vote for W. in 2004 for that very reason.

Does it really matter? Both Democrats and Republicans are on the SAME team - they only "act like" they're warring against each other when they're in front of the cameras.

Even Obama's national security advisor James Jones ADMITTED that Henry Kissinger and the Council on Foreign Relations have the FINAL say on everything.(i.e. one of the CFR agendas is to implement the North American Union with the Amero currency)

Your probably right it was disgusting to watch Bush yesterday slobbering and fawning with that friggin Obama after all the sh!t Obama has said about him and blamed him for, I lost the little respect I had for Bush yesterday, Bush should have done his own thing for Haiti and told Obama to go f-ck himself and he should have done it publicly.

She's well educated and has spent three decades as a prosecutor. Even with all that time to sift through, so far the best criticisms the neo-cons can come up with revolve around people who all got long jail sentences. Sure she isn't as folksy as the Shrub. How'd picking someone you'd like to have a beer with work out, btw?

I'll take a candidate that's stood the test of time in this state and who's positions have been consistent and in agreement with my own over some flash in the pan who's flip flopped his way into temporary prominence.

That's a bad way to put it. Her problem isn't that she lacks intelligence. She seems out of touch, way out of touch. I think she feels she is entitled to this seat. Those are two big flaws in todays political and economical realms.

She may be really smart but she comes across as a total idiot. Likewise I have no idea how smart Palin is but she doesn't act smart.

I have never understood people who use the term "Neocon" or "liberal" as if it describes their enemy. You certainly appear to look at neocons as your enemy when the fact is, they are your family members, friends and co-workers....

Such a sad perspective on politics sdaniels.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Is this some sort of reference to her not knowing Curt Schilling played for the Sox or something?

I do know that I knew who my candidate was before the first of this year, I bet you can't say the same. Remember how important experience was just a scant 15 months ago?

I knew who John McCain was years ago...I never even heard of Barak Obama until about 2 years prior to his election....AND....I still voted for him!

    There goes that reasoning!

So your uncle was all over the Obama candidacy and voted for Kennedy every single time he ran, only now he's switched?

You can't possibly expect anyone to believe that bunk, can you?

    I got it....

Your not excited about Martha, but you will vote for her because you would
not want to have a beer with her.

Unlike most women... I hear Coakley actually looks worse after a few cold ones.

    No, just realistic.

I'll never understand people who claim to be in the middle of the road, but only ever seem to get around to criticizing one side.

I'm not selfish, I want everyone in the country to do well. Is it selfish to not want obama's 10% unemployment ? The guy is clueless, instead of being a solution to the employment problem he's vilifying corporations who hire people.

You're ok up to me not being excited about a Senator. I don't think I've ever gotten excited over any of 'em. The rest of your post shows some flaws in your reading comprehension, though.

I get excited over a Red Sox rally,
I get excited when Rondo steals the ball and finds Pierce behind the defense,
I get excited when Brady lets one go and Moss has single coverage,
I used to get excited over the Bruins, then I grew up.

I wouldn't want any of those people as my Senator though.

Maybe you should read what you type before you post it... Mr English Major.

Did you or did you not post this (see below).

You're ok up to me not being excited about a Senator

That was a brilliant post Mr English Major...

Is it possible...... Could sdaniels7114 really be Patches Kennedy ?
