LOL. The big fluffy dog wandering around not knowing what to do and the little girl on the couch just going about her business with a few cursory looks at Dad provide the perfect straight men.

I liked the videos from last year (and there were a bunch, recording Ravens and Pats fans' reactions to Billy Cundiff's missed kick), particularly the one where the Ravens fan was the host and he had a bunch of Pats fans over, and one of them made a crack, and he threw them all out. LOL. I'm surprised this guy survived the end of last year's AFCCG....

I can relate to the angst,

but the kicking, pounding the floor, bawling, and shrieking like a little baby who dropped a lollipop in the mud is more than a little too much.

I think his heart will give out by halftime on Sunday night.

I don't buy that this is his actual reaction.

The guy DVR'd the game, and then over-acted afterward when the game was over. He knew it would get him some Youtube hits and possibly a little momentary fame. But the only thing it really got him is a lifetime of being known as the Baltimore Ravens bee-itch fan who cried during a playoff game.

That guy needs to be medicated or locked up.

I can't decide what's more disturbing - the out of control behavior of a grown man in front of his children or his wife recording/posting such an embarrassing display. She's okay with this?

My hope is that social workers are in the process of institutionalizing both parents and finding a home for the kids that doesn't subject them to this sort of lunacy on a day-to-day basis..

I am getting the distinct impression that last week was the Super Bowl for the Ravens and their fans. I would not be surprised if the team has a bit of a letdown.

Well, sometimes I screech like a woman, but hey, I'm entitled.

Confession - while I do not act nearly as "out there" as this guy does (I have never lain on the floor, for example [not sure if I could get up, LOL]), I do have lots of strong reactions during Patriots games, particularly playoff games. I would never allow anyone to tape me. For example, during my favorite regular season moment (2003, I think, Troy Brown catches OT bomb from Brady and takes it to the house after TWO missed chip shot figgies by Miami) my mother was staying with me and as I (literally) jumped for joy all over the family room, she sat on the couch and said, "You're scaring me." My reactions tend to be for joyous moments. When the Pats play bad I am just in a horrible mood. I would NEVER allow fans of an opposing team to watch a playoff game with me (LOL).

A good friend of mine is a Giants fan and always has the BEST super bowl parties.

But last year there was no way I was going. No Pats? Sure, I'll party it up.

If the Patriots are involved, I need to watch alone and everyone needs to stay clear. I don't throw stuff, wail, sob, punch the floor, or even jump for joy. I'm just not sociable. Sorry. It is what it is.

You can tell that the dog's thinking: WTF?!

A dog can sense when their owner's making a fool of themselves. I mean did the guy stop to think how much he must be embarrassing the dog. How do you know that the dog's friends weren't watching this spectacle?

My watching mostly consists of me yelling a lot of "****!," "****!," "touchdown!," "fumble, get it!," and "that's ours!"

Every so often, I'll change the channel when things get to nerve-racking. I must admit, I stopped watching shortly after halftime during last year's Super Bowl and during the AFC Championship game we blew against the Colts. I watched the entire 2007 Super Bowl at my hotel bar, but I was pretty hammered and don't remember much of it. :bricks:

I just realized... I moved from Massachusetts to Florida in the fall of 2005. That's when the mojo changed.

Pats fans need to take up a collection and buy me a house on the Cape to change the mojo back. I'll stay down here in the sun on winter non-game days, though.

Great role model for those kids. Makes you wonder how he handles adversity in real life.

I was amazed at how composed the dog and kids were. Daddy must go berserk fairly regularly.

Yeah, the dog and kids are acting too nonchalant for this to be an act; i.e. something rarely done. Oh well. I know a couple people that refuse to watch their team with anyone else in the house. They're probably like this.

I get excited during games. Sometimes I jump up or yell "wooo!" or something. I even laugh if it's a blowout during a hyped-up game. If it's a bad loss coming, I just sit there with a vodka. This, though...this is something else. But I don't think it's THAT uncommon. I bet a sizable fraction of fans are at least close to this level.

I just realized I'm much more composed watching games at the stadium vs. home on television. I think it helps greatly to be immersed in the game's atmosphere instead of having all the sensory/informational input being limited to a screen in front of you and whatever the broadcasters want to offer.

I think you're on to something there. I mean, big plays elicit the same kind of jumping I might do at home, but I'm going to have to think about that.
