Anyone else reminded of 2001 Rams?

I was thinking that in 2001 the Rams came into our house, and while the Patriots did not win the game, they stayed with them and saw enough of what the Rams did to get ready for the SB and know how to beat them.

Fast forward 5 years and the Colts come to Foxboro and win. People call it a blowout 27-20, where Tom Brady threw 4 picks, and the Colts benefitted from some immaculate bounces.

Perhaps history will repeat itself. The pundits are saying that the Colts win is indicative of what we will see today. But it seems like the loss will be a helpful factor in today's game for the patriots.

Hopefully we will learn to be patient and Brady wont just throw an INT on the first drive.

It's utterly disgusting how much people think the Colts are so great.

Does anyone know how many points KC or Baltimore scored on def. turnovers throughout the entire season?

I think they scored a bunch of points returning them for tds thereby skewing their scoring offense.

The Ravens were right around 20 pts per game when you eliminate the defensive/ST scores. I'm almost positive the Chiefs were sub 20. Not very good by any definition.

Go Pats!

The Rams were a lot scarier.

Good analogy, hadn't thought of that one before. There is also a lot of talk about Belichick holding some defensive schemes back during the regular season meeting. We played the Rams completely differently in the SB than in week 10, so hopefully we see that again today.
