All week leading up to the game the Pats were talking about how they needed to run Curtis Martin to keep the pass rush off of Drew. So the Pats came out with play-action galore and Drew looked good. After that 1st quarter, the Packers realized the Pats weren't running Martin and decided to stop biting on the play-action. It got ugly for Drew thereafter.
Milloy was a rookie and was asked on the fateful TD bomb to Freeman to bump-and-run. He forgot the bump and Freeman went right past him.
Still, when the Pats pulled within 6, it looked good for a brief moment. They clearly had the momentum as Green Bay wasn't moving the ball much in the 2nd half. That TD run by Martin was a thing of beauty. After Howard's TD gave them the 14pt lead, the back-to-back Max...err, sacks...by Reggie White firmly put the game's momentum back in Green Bay's favor.
