Any word on Woody & Jones injuries?

OK, post this if the pats make it to the SB and lose because they're missing key players. It happened last year and it could very easily happen again. I'm spoiled, i don't want to watch the pats lose another SB because we're understaffed do to injuries. And besides that for the last ten years this team seems inordinate amount of injuries to key starters.

Everyone is injured this time of year. The Broncos were missing McGahee, Walton (Starting OC) and Joe Mays. The Ravens have had Webb on IR since week 7. The 9ers have Mario Manningham and Parys Haralson on IR. The Texans have Brian Cushing. Falcons are without Grimes.

Those are all starters than the top playoff teams have on IR. We have Gronk, maybe throw Edelman as a borderline starter.

We aren't any worse off than any of these other teams.

Jones's new injury appears to be his left ankle. Field Yates says: "it appears that a Texans lineman accidentally fell on the left ankle of Jones on Arian Foster's touchdown run late in the first half", so at least he didn't reinjure the ankle he hurt earlier in the season.

now he has two bad ankles

Jones was wrecking havoc last 2 final games of the reg season.
BB said that the second MIA game was Jones' finest as a Patriot. I trust that assertion.

Although it's been widely reported he limped out of the facility without a boot...

Then more than likely it's just a bad sprain (which is just as bad a lot of times). Go and watch the close up of that replay again and tell you whether or not you would have been surprised if it was fractured. His ankle completely bent under the pile and he was still being pushed backward by the LT.

Justin Francis has some SERIOUS motor.

If he was blessed with Jones' body he'd be unstoppable.

Totally different builds, totally different types of players.
