for who is going to be the first coach to be fired in 06?

NY Islanders coach Ted Nolan......oops wrong sport....they already fired their mew GM. so the coach will be next.........all kidding aside, I think the coaches of the Chargers and Eagles need big seasons to keep their jobs. Shott and Reid have been at it for quite a while.

Thanks for the reply, Scott99.
I thought that this could be a fun thread but then thinking more about it
it seems that half the NFL teams have already fired their coaches and the ones
that are left are pretty solid with their teams.
As for Reid and Schottenheimer, they have had plenty of success but no SB ring. I guess their management could get antsy and fire one.
I say though that if the Colts struggle this season(a possible scenario since they now have no proven running game) Dungy could fall.

Definatly the Colts organization must be running short on patience with Dungy.

First thing I thought of when I read the title of this thread is Rocky III when the reporter asks Clubber Lang for "any predictions on the fight". Clubber turns and looks straight into the camera and says "prediction? pain".

As far as the coaching prediction goes I think it would be Art Shell from the Raiders. Al Davis is soft enough to do that.

There were so many coaching changes over the off-season that there arent many coaches left who have done poorly long enough to get whacked early.
