For a football site, this place has got to be the most infatuated site with race I've ever seen. Every other day there is some new thread about "so and so is racist."

And most of the time, it seems like the posters that are making these accusations don't have a clue what real racism is.

We argue using two different definitions. The conservatives tend to define racism as actively harming someone because of their race. While the liberals tend to define racism as any act that results in people of one race or another being harmed more than another race. Thus, cutting food stamps, which hurts poor people, who are disproportionately people of color, could be seen as racist from a liberal perspective, but conservatives would see it differently. I think it's the different meanings we assign to the word "racism" that makes the subject so common here.

Completely agree with your first paragraph...honestly "left" for a bit because of it....it is bizarre to me.

The election will determine that and that's what makes the country great. Some other countries have way less of a choice. Our choice is not the greatest but if you include the primaries ... our choices are at least there to choose. Would be nice if we were not so republican and democrat but that's what we are so we do the best we can with it.
