Re: Another media dipsh1t weighs in

Isn't Norman the color guy for the poker tournaments on ESPN? Is so I think he'd be better off sticking to poker. If not, who is he?

Whoever, he's entitled to his opinion, no matter how wrong it may be.

Just saw the above post, and I agree. He's not very good at the poker stuff either.

I agree, there will always be someone on the fringe writing crap like this, even after the King's of the sports writing world move on. That's why there on the fringe. I could smell the hate in his writings, once you smell that, then realize everything's bias and move on.

I don't care about his opinion. I do care that so many of these fu^&ing "writers" get paid to post so much factually-inaccurate and increasingly puerile horsecrap. It offends me as a mature and logical thinker.

Re: Another media dipsh1t weighs in

    ok, this explains everything

1st - He works for ESPN, the NY Post of the sports world

2nd - He does better picking games by flipping a coin then by educated
    assumptions.

3rd - Uses the word "whamboozled."

4th - He looks like a dork, meaning he was abused by the Tom Brady's of his high school.

Re: Another media dipsh1t weighs in

Sports journalism has no integrity anymore. They are all a bunch of bandwagon-jumpers who are just looking to attract readers. That's why they don't mind writing things that are outrageous and not factually correct - as long as they have the readers then anything goes.

20 years ago a 5-0 team would be called "good", maybe "great", but now it goes from "invincible" to "overrated". When did the NFL become the BCS? Will the Pats lose votes if they don't beat the creampuffs by at least 20?

You have to admit, the bit about Belichick's video center was funny.

I can take the jokes about the video cameras, but the "cheating" comments are ridiculous.

I agree..ESPN has overblown a lot of things..instead of ever trying to help further the knowledge about sports themselves it's more gossip hype and anything but truth.

Gossip, hype? ESPN? Oh yeah, they did devote a summer of programming to determine "Who's Now?"

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I don't get where Chad's bitterness is coming from.

Wow! The comments about Belichick are just comical. Maybe Chad should look at Mike Shanahan's record in Oakland or Don Shula's record in KC. Many Super Bowl winning and HOF coaches don't do well their first time around. Besides, why did he post the Jets record to prove his point? Belichick was undefeated as the HC of the NYJ.

Lighten up. We're the flavor of the month and he's taking a pot shot. We better get used to it. The guys a humorist and we're grist for his mill.

I actually prefer a good sarcastic slam (humble pie) than the sloppy wet kisses we were getting from the announcers on MNF. When you have gay innuendos from some creepy skinny bald guy towards your QB, I'll take this article anyday.

Also PatsSB42, you need to edit and erase about 3/4 of that article.

Copy pasting a whole article is a no no.

He's trying to generate his own hype by going the complete opposite direction of the media whose calling the Patriots the best team ever and so on. For the first few weeks, that was the thing, now its "well, no, forgive me if I don't crown them yet."

It's typical journalism. No one writes how they feel anymore, and for that matter, probably never did.
