Again, I'm not talking about Canton.

Should Corey Dillon go to the Patriot's HOF?

would have voted for maybe - he is on the line.

In the Moss thread, I said Troy Brown is Pats HOF looooong before Moss.

Likewise....

Kevin Faulk = Patriots HOF

Dillon? Maybe, maybe not....probably not.

No, quite simply because he will be going up against so many more worthy than he...

There is only one a year and there are so many more popular "patriots" coming up, he does not stand a chance.

Clock killin' Dillon was also essentially one and done Dillon. No way. Glad they traded for him, appreciate what he did that season, in hindsight the extension was a mistake. Not a HOF player on a team that had so many heart and soul guys who won multiple rings and continued to compete for them, too.

Yes he should. Never worried about the SB that season.
Corey was the man and that is all that matters.
The Patriots seem to be a little sparse in the SB trophy department since his great 2004 season.

Tough decision - in fact, I changed my mind at the last minute.

Dillon, like Moss, was a mercenary that was brought in to take the offense over the top. And he did that and more. But while he fell into the ranks of the Patriots culture, he isn't a Patriot.

Ask yourself if Antowain Smith is a Patriot HOFer. The Pats won two championships with Smith in three years... one with Dillon, but Dillon had huge numbers.

They had twice as many already when he got here. They'd won 2 in 3 years with Antione Smith as the primary RB... And they went to 2 more in the 5 years since he departed...while going to none in the 2 years he remained.
