Ethics issues have Christie on defensive | Philadelphia Inquirer | 08/20/2009
He's a politician, those are the type of people that enter politics, the country should be turned over to the Mafia at least they're honest about their dishonesty.
I'd trust John Gotti before I'd trust Pelosi.
Gotta love the state of NJ.
So the citizens there get to choose from a corrupt loser incumbent, and a corrupt loser challenger. Hey, the voters there don't concern themselves with petty stuff like corruption, or unethical allocation of cash. Gee, I wonder why that state is such a total shiphole. :confused2:
Maybe they draw the line at personal corruption vs. public corruption- not paying your taxes not being as bad as inappropriately giving money to someone connected to public employees.
Then again there's a reason New Jersey has been the butt of jokes for decades...
There is a difference between Corzine and Christie.
(1) Corzine reported his loan. Christie did not disclose his loan; not once, but twice. He did not disclose on the Federal form and on his Tax Return.
(2) Corzine gave the loan to his lover while Christie gave the loan to a subordinate
According to the excerpt from the article, and I know didly about NJ politics, the lover was the head of the largest state workers union. The point is, niether is a prize, and it's amazing how the people always end up with corrupt, or incompetent choices in government. Where are all the smart, capable people? Of course, this is NJ we're talking about, so smart and capable might not be possible.
The proof is the number of Jets Fans.. enough said.
I used to date a girl from Joizey. There are some wierd people down there. Oh, and some absolutely stunning women too.
