Guess this stuff is not very important to the Tea Partiers, as the chump change issues are paramount. But once again the war profiteers are getting fat and doin more stealing from the government..

It goes on and on and will never end..

This agency went from a 12 person agency, and now has over 1900 employees.. with little to show for their effort.

Just imagine if the azz clown of the right George Bush did not start the fiasco in Iraq, this money would have never have beens spent..

    The War Profiteers thank you..

    from your link:

If your spouse or child had been saved you would consider the program a success. The issues around IED will be present wherever US troops are stationed going forward.

There may well have been waste, there is waste with a lot of what the government does. I would rather spend money saving lives of soldiers and subsidizing NPR and PBS and Planned Parenthood.

But waste such as NPR, Planned Parenthood or any the other chump change programs are ok.. spend, spend, spend that is all the military does well, they cannot even keep track of their expenditures..

What this guy said is not proven, as there has been little success and if this did not take place there would have been progress made...

Where is the outrage by the Tea Party over this?? I guess their efforts do not apply to the war profiteers.. just another bloated government military agency..

Do you ever really go on Ron Paul's site or hear him talk, or his son? Have you even watched ONCE Judge Napalitano on Freedom Watch? Have you really listened to the various tea parties and what they actually say? Or do you only listen to folks funded by Media Matters or Adriana Huffington?

Watch, just for one week, the Judge. It will give you better understanding of our real attitudes. Until then, please refrain from lumping us in with the neocon right. There are maybe 12 real tea party reps in congress right now.

Actually prefer a variety of sources before formulating an opinion, what is obvious here is that chump change issues are more important to the Tea Party than the real issues...

They are just pawns for the corporatists... and sadly most do not see it. They just follow along.

Well you are speaking to a member. And the movement has several organizations and hundreds of permutations around the country, this is true. So I cannot speak to each of them. It is a starfish.

However, this is not how most in the movement think. Let me assure you that whereas we do wish to eliminate funding for NPR and Planned Parenthood, those are just two of the thousands of needless FEDERAL programs of all sorts, including defense contracting, that need to go. I posted on this in another thread already. The neocon Republican leadership and the Religious Right have corrupted the message, to our dismay. They are picking and choosing politically select programs to cut.
We want to cut them all and return the Federal government back to its Constitutionally constrained juristiction only. This very much includes defense spending.

The reality is that none of this is about controlling federal spending and more about pursuing a social agenda... there is no real seriousness about reducing the federal deficit..

If there was a sincere program, they would look at the continual fraud, cost overruns and ineptitude of the defense industry... examine the brou ha ha over any big ticket item, the new air tanker for example.. what it came down to was a fight over location.. Alabama vs. Washington, and sadly that is the way we do business in the Defense Industry...

I believe in the the constitution, however do not agree with what the DOD has become.. they factor in 17% of every contract for fraud, what a sad state of affairs that is.

There are countless examples in the federal budget that are not "constitutionally mandated", but the right has chosen to ignore them for the sake of their social agenda. The reality is that the folks who control the Tea Party, the corporatists, are dictating what they want.
