I know some people might take joy in this, but I feel like I should post it anyway. It's shocking, to be honest:

Andrew Brietbart dies at - POLITICO.com

It's kind of breaking at the moment, so better links will come.

    Taking Joy:
Another who didn't "Kow Tow" to the "Left Wing Liberal Democrat Media"

RIP old boy, there are others out there who will take your place, it's a whole new world, The Old Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather days are over, Today there are people who have the courage to TELL THE WHOLE STORY, THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY, THE PART OF THE STORY THAT THE LEFT WING MEDIA WOULD RATHER THE PEOPLE DIDN"T HEAR.

Yea, though I walk through the shadow of the valley of death I shall fear no evil, for thou art with me.

Not sure... I have heard he was a partier. He was only 43 and in generally good health, so the died of "natural causes" seems odd to me.

I just got home from a dr. appt. and saw this on the news. I didn't like the guy, or approve of his methods, but I do feel sorry for his family - and for him, too, come to think of it. 43 is an awfully early age to die at. I'm sure he, like all of us, had a lot more things planned and was looking forward to living a much longer life full of family and accomplishments.

    What a shame.

i just saw this. Wow dead at 43 is scary. So young. The guy was a totally polarizing figure, but fairly bright none the less. I wasn't a fan or anything, but I did pay attention to a few of his interviews in recent years, and to my surprise, he was alot smarter than I originally thought. RIP.

"Partiers" die of natural causes, too. Just sooner, is all.

Truth. I didn't mean to imply anything about him by using the term "partier"; obviously, I didn't know the guy beyond his public persona. Liberal or conservative, I don't rejoice when people die.

In a couple of years a fable will emerge remembering the day when Breitbart died that the left was dancing in the streets..

    Those bad lefties..

Wikipedia says he collapsed while on a walk shortly after midnight.

Check Twitter, they are. It would be the same as if Michael Moore died... many righties would be having a ball and high-fiving. It's part of the sad state of polarized politics in our country.

Read elsewhere that he had heart problems.

But, ya know, let's blame it on his partying.

I wasn't trying to do that. I have no interest in slandering the man. I was just trying to figure out the cause since "natural causes" at 43 is out of the ordinary.

Tragic when anyone dies, even more so when it is someone so young.

He leaves behind a wife and 4 young children.

Deepest prayers and best wishes go out to Andrew Breitbart's family.

Speaking of polarizing, a guy dies at 43 with a wife widowed, and 4 kids fatherless, and some people in here feel compelled to make it a righties suck vs lefties stink thread. When some of you talk about how crappy things are in this country, I hope you sometimes look in the mirror.

It is, but somehow everything will be magnified & polarized based on myths ... do not need a crystal ball to say that.

There will be a few who will be joyous, but most are somber over the death of a young man with a family..

Very tragic story for his family and friends ... prayers for them at this difficult time. I never really paid attention to him other than to know he was a conservative who ran a righty web site.

I did not like the format of the page so I can't say much more than that. He exercised his right as a person to air his views ... no need to hate that as it helps keep government on their toes as much as possible.

Someone will fill the void publicly - we all are replaceable. His family will never replace him as a father or husband ... may he RIP and may his memories stay in their hearts and minds forever.
