Ok, all I heard this week when comparing the jobs between Caldwell and Ryan on Saturday night how Caldwell was lost and Ryan had all his bases covered and coached perfectly.

Well, Ryan was miked in that game. Right before the Jets kicked the game winner, Schottenheimer asked him if he wanted to run or pass to get in better field goal position, Ryan's response was "Run it or throw it... I could give two sh@ts!". So the whole season is on the line and Ryan couldn't care less what they ran? Can you ever picture Belichick in such a crucial situation be apathetic to what play O'Brien called?

Check it out. It is about 4:20 on the following video.

NFL on Break | Sound FX: Rex Ryan wired | Break.com

As a side not check out 2:09 to see Shonn Greene's reaction to Tomlinson's rushing TD. Clearly there is a lot of love on this team. It may look like he is shaking his head in disgust, but it really is just love and admiration for Tomlinson.

I saw that last night and my jaw dropped. Couldn't believe what I saw.

Whenever I've watched him on Miked Up, it seems like he is just playing lottery numbers. He has the most talented team in the NFL - - he is winning only based on the rented (short-term) talent.

He'll be a star very soon as a studio talent on either the NBC, CBS, ESPN or Fox studio shows.

It just seems to me like Ryan is delegating the duties to Schotty. Doesn't seem like a big deal to me.

When BB is miked up, all you hear is strategy talk, coaching up of individual players, or analysis of the coaching points of a previous play.

When Rex is miked up, all you hear is cheerleading.

I am pretty positive Edwards was OOB on that pass to the 13 at the end. His hand is out of bounds before his knee touches.

Or does that even matter? Probably not, I don't know...

His feet were definitely in-bounds before his arms landed out of bounds. What is inexplicable to me is why the clock continued to run when he clearly went out of bounds.

^^Did that really matter? Jets would have knelt and ran clock out still...

yeah baby baby babies....say baby one more time, I dare you!

That was a great game at the end though. The great thing was knowing that one of them had to lose, the worst was knowing that only one of them could lose. For as bad as Sanchize and the Jests played earlier on, that last 53 seconds was 6 big time mistake free plays in a row...they definitely earned the right to come to Foxboro and get beat down again on Sunday.

Well considering on the previous drive the Jets were in a 3rd and 5 with 2:51 left up by 2 with Indy only having one timeout left and Schottenheimer decided to call a deep pass to Braylon Edwards, Ryan shouldn't have been delegating duties. If the Colts didn't score so quickly on their next drive, that play might have lost the Jets the game.

Besides, Ryan said after the game, that they let Sanchez make the call because they trusted him so much. I thought it was just Ryan BS to bolster the confidence of his QB, but after watching the video I believe it. Belichick might let Brady make the call, but I doubt he would let a QB like Sanchez make the call.

Uh, oh. Tony Dungy is gonna have a bird when he hears the bad, bad language. I'm certain that he'll make an issue of it...NOT!

Rex inherited Shotsie, Jr and his offense when he arrived in NY last year and two full seasons later he still doesn't have a clue what it entails because he never had any involvement in any offense beyond installing his ****amamie traffic light rules last season to keep his overwrought rookie QB from throwing games away. Rex remains a DC figurehead posing as a HC whose basic jobs are to motivate his high strung team and SOJ fanbase to BELIEVE and the media to hype Woody's JETS so he can sell those damned PSL's. Down the stretch in every one of those games they would have lost had the other team not totally screwed themselves up he looks like a lost soul sweating the potential consequences if they don't. Rex and his JETS are less good than lucky and opportunistic which is why the arrogant way he and many of his players behaves is so repulsive to most football fans who tend to embrace an underdog otherwise...

He said something about switching to a sub-package at one point. As far as I could tell, that was the only comment that couldn't have been made by some fat slob Jets fan in the stands. The guy is really a revolting clown.

That's rich coming from a team that got caught actually, you know, cheating.

If it were not for the embedded Jet acting as commish, "Spygate" would probably not even have been news.

This may not pop before the game, but I am certain there are men on the Jets
    who detest this stuff.
Jason Taylor on Cromartie, and Ryan:
'If you don't want them to celebrate...don't let them score' "I come from the school of thought where if you don’t want someone to celebrate or be excited or say something to you or do something that you might perceive as offensive, then don’t let them score, and they won’t do that. I respect Brady...as a person No. 1, and as a competitor, and I think the things he’s done on the field this year have been nothing short of amazing. And the guy plays with a lot of passion, and as an athlete, you can appreciate that. If he’s not on your team, obviously it’ll tick you off. But again, if you keep him out of the end zone, you won’t be offended by him."
