YouTube - AMAZING SPEECH BY WAR VETERAN
Yes, wonderful speech.......
The speaker (Michael Prysner) talks of "trying to be proud of his service, but ended up feeling nothing but shame".
Image Google Mike Prysner. There are tons of images of this ass-clown......... and guess what he's wearing.......... Part of all of that uniform that he is so ashamed of. Perhaps he should take the uniform off before telling everyone how ashamed of it he is.
Methinks he likes the attention. :singing:
He's currently running for political office in Florida with the “Party for Socialism and Liberation”.
Oh, but don't get me wrong, I don't discount all that trauma he faced during the war. Beating up all those civilians, Oppressing all the little kids must have taken a toll. I'm sure he murdered tons of Civilians. After all, in his duties as a 96H20 (Common Ground Station Operator), put him into all kinds of direct participation and occupation duties against the civilian population.
Oh wait......... It doesn't.
The guy has the right to his opinion and Iraq was certainly not worth the effort we put into it, but this guy has agenda written all over him. If I want amazing "speeches" by war vets, I'll just go down to the local VA hospital and listen to them, as I help out in whatever way I can. They aren't looking for your approval, nor attention.
If you don't like him, then you wouldn't like Pat Tillman either...and a lot of people thought he was good.
They thought the same way.
I have no idea on his background or his political preference, but, in that speech...it is very true.
That makes no sense. I don't care what this guys opinion of the war is. Lots of vets didn't exactly agree with the war, or how they are asked to wage it (and I can't blame them for that). Nothing wrong in that persay...
That's not my point.......... I'm just saying that when you listen to this guys anti-american tirade you have to put it in perspective.
1) He's was a 17 year kid that joined (volunteered) the Army pre-9/11 to get money for college, and then got bitter cuz they actually needed him to do what he swore and oath to do when he signed up. Sorry, that doesn't get much sympathy from me.
2) The guys rails on and on about how embarrassed he is of his service, and then wears a symbol of his service at every rally he goes too to legitimize what he's saying. Ridiculous, and hypocritical. He pushing his socialist agenda and using his military service (and symbols of it) to underscore the validity of his message. Sorry, that may make you get all a twitter, but I find it totally transparent.
This guy is giving you shtick......... Nothing more, nothing less.
3) If your gonna listen to this guy punctuate his anti-American shtick with tales of oppression and hardship that he faced personally "oppressing" the oppressed, then you got to look as his resume............... Which doesn't remotely support that claim. The guy was a REMF, sitting in an air-conditioned control room in a relatively safe area directing traffic on a computer screen. VALID legitimate military service, but he wasn’t zackly humping the boonies with the rest of the 11 Bang-bangs interacting daily with the populus.
It makes a difference...........
Amazing??...you're kidding right? Hey, with more soldiers like him, anyone could kick our arse!
Now THIS is an amazing speech!
..... and the funny thing was that this guy was as f***** over by cowardice and political correctness in the leadership US Military as anyone. But instead of pulling the "race card" or resorting to cheap Anti-American rhetoric to jumpstart his political career, he took his message to the people.
A true American Patriot.
