    Anecdotal evidence is proof of????

Unfortunately this young woman and child have been victimized by this man, but not sure what it is supposed to prove??? The perp should experience our judicial system, and if guilty should do the time that is imposed...

Are you attempting to equate the actions of a tea party leader to a Honduran Illegal Immigrant??

That probably depends on if he considers one singular rapist to be indicitive of the dangers posed to us by all illegal aliens or if he considers this particular alien to be his own person with his own faults and not representative of all illegal aliens.

If he does - then The Tea Party is full of potential rapists and kidnappers - if not, then neither do all illegal aliens pose a rape-risk.

A guy (who shouldn't have even been here in the first place) raped a young woman, though it seems he'll get away with calling it statutory. Why are you people getting so mad at me for posting it? You're more angry at me for posting it than you are at him for doing it.

That's some conjured up rationale. Who said or indicated they were mad at you for it? I don't sense any anger in anyone's posts.

Now YOURS, on the other hand, typically. ...

Since the catholic church has settled its preist on boy rape cases, does that condemn ALL people who attend church?

Catholic Church Settles With 700 Abuse, Rape Victims For $250 Million | The New Civil Rights Movement

Do those who defend the church, also defend rape?

    (rhetorical)

We have another thread to add to "dumbest thread of 2012" thus far....

Maybe we should keep these rapists out of making government policy, after all....

Since we're so concerned about stories involving rape and non-stereotypes...

I think most understood the point I was trying to make with my thread, Wolfpack. What point are you trying to make that hasn't been made 100 times before by you, Harry Boy, and and handful of others?

I'm upset that an illegal raped someone, and in your eyes that makes me a proponent of slavery?

Like I said, it's amazing how these liberals don't have a single word fo criticism for the rapist, but they sure are mad at me for posting the story! :bricks:

I'm pretty sure anybody who commits a rape is an "illegal."

Q - should anybody caught in another country committing a crime be subject to whatever justice that country chooses to dole out?

Gee, I thought it was common knowledge that the term "an illegal" is shorthand for "an illegal immigrant." Sorry that that bit of common knowledge flew over your head.
Q - should this illegal (see above for definition of "illegal" in this particular context) have even been in the U.S. in the first place?

It's also "common knowledge" that angels control our fate and Elvis is still alive.

"Illegal" is an adjective. If you are making it a noun, it would logically follow that it would denote "someone who does illegal things."

    You know, like rapists.

But that's not how the rightie mind works. Come into the country undocumented (or, for some, look like you might have, or have the wrong last name,) and you're an "illegal"

Rape someone and you're not -- provided you're native born.

Yeah sounds like those priorities are in order.

As to the Q, have the stones to answer it, yes or no.

The right loves to be the victim via the use of hysteria.. but all that was posted was a question to clarify your point.

For someone familiar with expertise in the legal system, such as yourself, you call it statutory if it is statutory.. the reality is that all the facts are not known.. justice will ensue.

If you posted the same story and the savage raper had been a "White Mother F-cker Nascar Driver" you would be nominated for a POSTER OF THE YEAR AWARD BY----"The Illegal Alien Groupies Of America Association"

Why not? I am curious to hear your POV, but I would say that any person going to any country (whether people coming here, or "we going there") should/would be held to countries laws and regulations.

I know when I was in Indo my biggest fear was getting arrested because assuming I didnt get put to death; they have death sentenances for what we in the US would consider not very "big crimes"; going to an Indo jail made Midnight Express look like a cake walk.

Whether I agreed with their laws or customs didn't matter, it was their country, and I followed them, including laws which require non Indonesian citizens students to learn Bahasa Indonesian in school (but that was common sense since not many there speak English, so it was more a matter of survival/quality of life to learn it).

Of course I could have completely missed the point of your question PFnVA.
