The Jets game - a leaping catch and a skinny post for a TD
The Vikings game - crawling into the end zone for a TD
The Buffalo game - the flag route in the right corner of the end zone

All away games, all on turf - the same turf as in Indy.

And, not only did he not play against SD, remember he wasn't utilized much against Indy back in November.

Look for the Pats to use his freshness and speed on punt (and possibly kickoff) returns, and to be part of the mix on offense.

I'm predicting at least one big play from Chad tomorrow, and his speed will be a difference maker on the same turf that he first impressed NFL scouts at last spring's combine.

I'm hoping that the Pats employ some unforseen wrinkles in the gameplan. If one of those is Chad Jackson, then all the better. The kids got wheels.

The agression and speed of the Colts' defense plays right into the Pats' hands for a reverse and/or fake reverse to Jackson.

I know the hook and ladder is a big fad right now,but it would make my day to see Brady and Jackson hook up for one.

I think Jackson sees as many plays tomorrow as he did in SD. Pats coaches seem to have as much confidence in Jackson as I have in getting a date with Salma Hayek......mmmmm....Salma Hayek (in his best Homer Simpson inpersonation).

I'm certainly not expecting anything but they've been close enough that it wholly reasonable something will happen. For the time being they've settled on using just the two WR but going downfield a couple of times to Chad would be interesting - also they like the WR screens against a poor tackling Colt team and they've thrown a few of those to Chad this season. He's certainly big enough to break the all important first tackle on those passes.

Everyone wants to see Chad Jackson do something, but the reality is that he is at the back of the depth chart. If the Pats go down by 2 TDs late in the game maybe you'll see him return a kick, hoping for a miracle, but in a close game you don't take the chance, not in the AFC championship, you go with the guys at the front of the depth chart.

I could see him being used as a decoy Sunday. Indy will assume the Pats will try and mix things up and figure one of those things might be trying to get Jackson deep. I see the Pats lining him up on the outside stretching Indy's D and then running the ball up the gut off of that formation.

If Indy insists on leaving him in 1 on 1 coverage I can see them taking a shot down the field.

I am not comfrortable with us throwing him the ball.

Not much happens out of it.

Id rather see more plays to Gaffney.

You heard it here - Jackson, 3-4 catches for around 100 yds, most come on one long one of 70yds. It's time and it's perfect BB-like strategy, show them something they're not expecting and make it count. Remember Brady's bomb to the Twig in the bitter cold against the Titans? Shock factor of Jackson having in impact will throw off the Colts, plus it's the right kind of antidote for Sanders' cheating up front.

The throw was to Bethel Johnson against the Titans, but I get your point and I agree.

No one here is saying "Play Chad every down and put all your eggs in the Chad Jackson basket." We aren't counting on him; we are hoping for up to 5 plays where he is given a chance to change the game. All you need is talent and ability to make a big play, and one play can change a big game, especially when it's unexpected.

To the guy who said throw to Gaffney more instead of Chad...why? I am kind of playing devils advocate here, and I love Gaffney and he has been great, but he has had at least 2 deep balls that were perfectly thrown that he couldn't bring in. He has been a fantastic posession receiver, and we should keep him in that role. I don't think one or two attempts at a big play with Chad is a bad idea, because he has the tools.

I feel confident that a lot of brainpower has been expended
trying to defeat ... combat ... mislead ... and confuse the redoubtable Mr. Sanders.
Jackson sure could play a role in that.

Chad Jackson may have all the tools but he is far from being a complete player. The Pats have 6 guys who caught passes last week Caldwell, Gaffney, Graham, Watson, Faulk and Brown those are Bradys weapons. I count around 40 years of experience catching balls between them. Chad Jackson and his "tools" got nothing on that, not even a single snap last week. Chad Jackson is a rookie with a lot of raw talent, which he has not harnessed yet, but with great potential for the future. But tomorrow he is the 4th string receiver period. The only chance you'll see him is if there is if there's an injury, and maybe not even then. There's so much at stake in this game, why would you want this guy out there?

You don't get it at all man. Our offense plays usually around 70 snaps a game. No one here is saying to use Chad for all 70 of those snaps, or even for 10% of those snaps. All we are saying is why not try him on maybe 2 of those 70 plays to see if his athleticism can create a big play? The least polished player ever, Bethel Johnson, even made one big play in the playoffs, and that was a game changing play (deep ball vs. Tennessee). Just because Chad is raw and inexperienced doesn't mean he doesn't have the ability to make one big play.
