yep... this story is breaking all over the newswaves tonight... gosh, Alberto... didn't you just go on the offensive late yesterday saying this was ridiculos and last week, you said:

UPDATE II: On March 12, Gonzales denied any involvement in the prosecutor purge:

I was not involved in seeing any memos, was not involved in any discussions about what was going on … That’s basically what I knew as attorney general.

    anyhoo, here we are:

    BREAKING NEWS
    NBC News and news services
Updated: 1 hour, 5 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - Attorney General Alberto Gonzales approved plans to fire several U.S. attorneys in a November meeting, according to documents released Friday that contradict earlier claims that he was not closely involved in the dismissals.

The Nov. 27 meeting, in which the attorney general and at least five top Justice Department officials participated, focused on a five-step plan for carrying out the firings of the prosecutors, Justice Department officials said late Friday.

is being a liar a pre-requisite for this badminstration?

Rosemary Woods, Scooter Libby, Bill Clinton, George W.... notice trends here...as a society we have become desensitized to lying and cheating, and have come to expect it.

But it's not like he committed purjury! He just lied to the entire country. Isn't that the norm? If we demand his resignation, we're hurting the troops and helping the terrorists!
