Breer just tweeted that "The four top teams in the AFC, Jets, Ravens, Colts, Chargers look poised to stay where they are, even if it usually doesn't happen that way. "

Why is this a diss... ??? As it stands right now, he is speaking the truth... We have more holes the roads in my neighborhood right now...

Where's the dissing? Those were the last four teams left standing last year in the AFC.

As of the end of the season and as we stand today, they are the top 4

I don't see how that is inaccurate.

Its a "diss" because the New York Jets are not a better team than the Patriots and they are not poised to be a better team than the Patriots.

Maybe hes right when we can't give up more than a fifth rnd pick for a necessity like a good reciever thats pretty pathetic.

I'm not jumping on the sky is falling band wagon but again Breer may have a point.

They aren't? Last time I checked they were in the AFC Chamiponship game.

If anyone on this board dared to say something like that the homers accuse us of being trolls.
The PATS FO has struck out big time today

The Colts, Chargers, and Steelers rarely make splashes of any sort in free agency. The Patriots used to do this, then the MO changed in 2007. Free agency isn't how you build a competitive team. The Saints had very few big name free agents on their team last year, the biggest name was Darren Sharper, who they got for a song as he was considered over-the-hill.

Who cares what he writes on March 5th, the season is 5 mos away. What meaning does it carry? It's an irrelevant comment.

Actually right now the jets are better, but the Pats still have 4 months to get even ...

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

The Jets made the AFC championship game while the Pats got blown out at home

The Jets are a better team and are poised to be even better next season. With the Wilfork deal up in the air, Bodden getting noticed by other teams and 0 FA signing the Pats look to be even worse than they were last year.

Exactly.....

What did the Colts and Chargers do?

I see the Jets and Ravens made some pick ups.

Wow. Is the bandwagon really this empty?

The pats right now have 1 wr, no tight ends, a huge question a cb and lb... there is a lot of questions right now... to get upset something a reporter says on march 5th is not worth it... Its the truth right now on this date...

Think he is referencing the Sproles tender and the Brackett re-signing.

First of all, the Pats as it stands are worse off than how they ended the season, which was a blowout home loss, while the Jets made it to the AFC Championship and lost on the road.

The Pats have no tight end, one starting wide receiver, no starting RBs (Jets have two), no starting RG, no starting RE, maybe one starting OLB, no starting RCB, and no punter. The four moves that they're most likely to make/have already made are re-signing Wilfork, Bodden, Faulk, and TBC. All of those players were on the team last year. How good was that team?

And if you're thinking the draft will cure all ills, look no further than Ron Brace, Pat Chung, Brandon Tate, Shawn Crable, Kevin O'Connell, Terrence Wheatley, Tyrone McKenzie, Chad Jackson, Laurence Maroney, and Dave Thomas.
