Albert Breer: Biggest surprise cut

A ballsy pick would be Randy Moss or Ty Warren, not Shawn Crable. How the hell is he a surprise cut? He's never even played a game. It's a surprise if he ISN'T cut.
Ty Warren that wouldn't be a surprise cut that would be an insane cut. Why in the world would you even put him on this list. :confused:

Maroney is the most talented all-around back the Pats have. He's still only 25 even though it seems like he's been around forever. He's still on his rookie deal and is a FA after this season, so he should be extra motivated to put up a big season so he can get a nice deal. I can't see BB cutting him.

I don't think Crable would be a surprise cut. I expect Holt to definitely make this team, especially with Welker's knee still a question.

I think the surprise cut could be Fred Taylor.

I HATE Maroney - but he won't get cut because the Patriots have no real, or good, runningbacks....so may as well keep the dancing bear.

Crable NEEDS to be cut. Wheatly too.

Patten is a goner.

Holt - maybe.

After todays announcement Crable is surely gone.

MARONEY would be a stupid cut, not a surprise cut. We carried Green-Ellis as our #5 last year. A young, inexpensive Maroney (who is a kr) is worth a roster spot, even if he is behind Taylor and Morris on the depth chart (which he is not).
=====================================
CRABLE would certainly not be a surprise cut.
=====================================
WHEATLEY would not be a surprise cut. He is generally considered on the bubble. My guess is that more than half of us expect him to be cut.
=====================================
HOLT would be a surprise cut. Belichick has no reason to cut a veteran before giving him a chance to learn the offense. As with Galloway, he could be cut after a few games into season if he doesn't work out.
====================================
TAYLOR would not be a surprise cut. The open question is whether he has anything left. He might even retire.
====================================

WHY NOT MENTION
GREEN-ELLIS and MORRIS?
