Al Sharpton to NFL: Block Rush Limbaugh bid for Rams - USATODAY.com

NEW YORK (AP) — The Rev. Al Sharpton wants the National Football League to block conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh from bidding on the St. Louis Rams. Sharpton sent a letter to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday. He said Limbaugh has been divisive and "anti-NFL" in some of his comments.

Just because you do not like his politics, does not mean he would not
    be a good owner.

Honestly, Sharpton probably cares less. He's just looking for a way to keep his fat head in the limelight. And he is damn good at it.

It's been a few months since Al was in the spotlight, he was overdue for another "hey, look at me" moment.

Lots of minority's in "high places" today, lot of big money makers in the "black community today" all this is putting the Race Baiting Phony REVEREND Glory Seekers out of business.

Sharpton/Jackoff (has beens) no further comment.

INteresting take by Jason Whitlock, who believes that Rush does not have a chance... but is using this as a media ploy to further his cause.... just another publicity stunt..

    Whitlock nails this whole thing...

Whitlock is full of SH*TE... He doesn't even mention Checkett's name. He's a fool to think that Dave Checketts would attatch his name to this based on publicity. He does own the BLUES. These two are currently one of seven groups interested. The likes of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Jason Whitlock need to shut up. What are they so afraid of?

Unlike Whitlock and Darryl, you nailed it! Wait until the white guilters and race baiters find out Checketts is a mormon, the crap will really hit the fan,

Of the groups, not too many will have his pedigree of leading winning sports franchises and especially dealing with labor agreements...he has been through labor problems as the head of the Knicks and as the head of the Rangers.

Liberals hate Limbaugh worse than they do Bush because they can't understand anybody having the audacity to disagree or talk back to them but the big thing that really drives them nuts is his ratings.......

I don't listen to the radio, I haven't listened to the radio since Emelia Earhart disapeared.
