It's interesting...in 2007, Romney was accusing the Democrats of using “defeatist” language on terrorism and the war in Iraq. Rudolph W. Giuliani was being even tougher, calling Democrats the “party of losers” who “refuse to admit the existence of Islamic terrorism.”

Obama, on the other hand, was quietly promising that, when he became president, we would

Obama may not have done everything he said he would do - but he's done this - and yet, Mitt Romney, when asked to grade him on foreign policy and terrorism, gave him an "F."

    What does that tell you?

It tells you that there's an election going on, and coke is running against pepsi, and pepsi against coke.

Thats why a lot of the Maureen Dowd Loons are dumping him and it's one of the things I applaud him for even though I make fun of his Drones, he's got that Killer Instinct, like Bush.

According to the NYT he works on his hit list every Tuesday. Anything's possible, I'm predicting a new video game hits the market by Christmas. :bricks:

True, but I still find the whole thing a little macabre, not so much the use of drones per se but the whole scenario. And I bet there will be a video game, in fact I bet Vegas already has lines/odds/whatever, on Bam's List. Maybe we should call him BAM instead ;) I'm sure Romney will continue if he's elected.

I don't think anyone is sure about anything that Romney thinks. Guy changes sides faster than a hot pillow on a humid night.

The whole war is crap, but thats besides the point right now.

How many more #2s can we kill? and who is the #1 now that Osama ordered the hit on Bin Laden?

Obama is creating job openings in Al Qaeda, #1 and #2 positions are now hiring!

Remember growing up they pounded in your head that Republicans were for lower taxes, small government and more national defense. Hindsight is 20/20 but I believe Obama has done a very good job. Especially in the area of places like Yemen where he acted proactively. I don't see how romney could improve in this area. I also think Obama has once and for all dispelled the notion of a leader who did not serve doing what needs to be done. Wish he would get us ouit of Afghanistan but I think that may be out of his control.

Yeah OK, what ever you say

Exclusive: Drones "inhumane", dead al Qaeda man's family says - Yahoo! News

TRIPOLI (Reuters) - The brother of al Qaeda's second-in-command, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike, said Washington's use of the remote-controlled weapons is inhumane and makes a mockery of its claims to champion human rights.

U.S. officials said on Tuesday that Libyan-born al Qaeda operative Abu Yahya al-Libi was killed by a drone strike in Pakistan, in what was described as a major blow to the militant group.

Well if anyone knows about being the champion of human rights it has to be the brother of the#2 Al Qaeda leader:rolleyes: The association might be a bit unfair but i wonder if he's consistent with the same criticism of Al Qaeda's inhumanity?

Using that particular source is a pretty bad example lol. But the USA has always championed human rights, " we don't torture" and all that, but the reality is quite different as we've seen many times. The other thing is, supposedly those drones aren't as precise as we're told. There are photos of the effects of those drone hits and it's no razor-sharp hit. Entire villages have been destroyed. We really don't know the truth about what goes on over there and maybe we never will but I think there are parts of the world who see our pro-human rights stance as a bit hypocritical. But an AQ complaining about human rights is just ridiculous:bricks:
