Reports: Akin Advisers Make Preparations For Withdrawal Tomorrow | TPM LiveWire

The pathetic attempt to correct by drawing a line between "Legitimate rape" and "Forecable rape" is unreal.

anybody who has ever met a woman should never think like this, let alone be elected to office.

I would enjoy being raped by a women younger than me, say around 85, especially if she doesn't were Depends.

Huh the only major political figure that I don't see calling for him to withdraw is Obama.
He had an impromptu press conference today. (I guess he didn't want to let the reporters have time to ask real questions.) No mention of calling for Akin to withdraw. Kind of strange isn't it?

Could he be putting politics ahead of the rape of woman ?

Obama" brother Samson is a child molester, maybe thats why he had nothing to say, also his father was a professional "c()cksman" knocking women up was his hobby.

It's not his first gaffe. I was in Missouri over the weekend and the airwaves were full of attack ads on both sides and one used his own words referring to student loans as a 'grade 3 cancer" and socialistic... Not the best way to get the student vote.....

You call it a f' up. Someone else in here called it a thoughtless comment.

    It's neither.

It was part of his core beliefs that women are nowhere near as important as fetuses. Typical so-called pro-life confusion. Every life is sacred until the moment of birth. Then everyone's on their own and subject to execution and death by bombing if they're mentally ill or in the wrong place. Justice and collateral damage is the words people use now, I think.

These guys are a dying breed thankfully Darryl. Not saying their perfect but younger republicans like Meghan McCain and those in college are way more tolerant and intelligent on social issues than these dinosaurs. That won't absolve history ... but every time one of these idiots goes away the better off the country will be.

All women were fetus's at the early stage of their life.

The rest is drivel and demagoguery and empty talking points.

Come on, darryl -- this was 3 comments, 2 of which were 20 and 30 years ago.

There are enough bad comments and policies from GOP candidates of recent years not to reach for examples like this.

And it would also be PATHETIC to attempt to draw a line between Ryan and Akin.

    Akin "BAD" therefore Ryan "BAD"....

Hmmm....I take it that Romney and Ryan called for his withdrawal? Got a link to that, perhaps?

'Cuz this is the last I heard:

Todd Akin Should Resign From Missouri Race After ‚ÄėLegitimate Rape‚Äô Comment, Scott Brown Says - ABC News

Could Romney be putting politics ahead of the rape of women?

If he withdraws, my guess he has been offered some sort of discrete plum job with Koch industries or similar. I doubt he'd withdraw on principle.
