Gotta love that punter jarring the ball lose!

Re: AFC Championship: Ravens @ Steelers game discussion (6:30pm EST / CBS)

Losing Hines Ward may be a huge thing as the game gets closer.
IF it gets closer

Steelers could have the easiest road to Super Bowl ever with their 3 opponents having won a total of 28 regular season games (8,9,11)

Opponents total regular season wins…..
2009 Steelers 28 (8,9,11 SD Balt AZ) average 9.3
2008 Giants 51 ( 4 games) (9,13,13,16 TB,Dal GB, NE) average 12.7
2007 Colts 48 (4 games) (13,9,12,14 Balt,KC NE Chi) average 12
2006 Steelers 48 ( 13,13,11,11 Den,Sea Indy Cin ) 4 games average 12
2005 Patriots 40 (12,13,15 Indy,Pitt, Phil) average 13.3
2004 Patriots 35 ( 11,12,12 Indy,TN,Car) average 11.7

Wow even the Steelers punter can tackle

Re: AFC Championship: Ravens @ Steelers game discussion (6:30pm EST / CBS)

That is as weak of a PI as I can recall (Hobbs vs. Wayne, anyone
?)

B'More has done nothing to deserve 7 points today...but the refs to the rescue.

Steelers fans are braindead... how do you watch THAT replay and have that reaction en masse? Pretty blatant PI, no?

Wow, Ravens are dropping like flies... sound familiar?

Re: AFC Championship: Ravens @ Steelers game discussion (6:30pm EST / CBS)

Deus,
How different is our 3-4 from the Steelers'?
They seem to be loaded with LB...every year. Woodley replaced Porter like it was nothing. Do you think scheming/**** LeBeau have that much to do with it?
It just seems we have to go through the Chads, Montys, and draft these tweeners and we are STILL trying to get younger and more athletic at LB. What gives?

Timmons was a #1, Woodley was a #2. Harrison was an undrafted free agent in 2002. Foote was a #4 in 2002. Farrior was a #1 pick of the Jets in 1997.

They are a lot like the Patriots in that they look for something and then are willing to take the time for development. It's not that they are young, it's that they play an attacking style.

Re: AFC Championship: Ravens @ Steelers game discussion (6:30pm EST / CBS)

Kind of a gift touchdown, but I'll take it.

How much do Stealer fans suck?

Re: AFC Championship: Ravens @ Steelers game discussion (6:30pm EST / CBS)

They can't let the Steelers answer here, go into the half down 6 and they're in okay shape.

Does it really matter to us if the results are tainted? :D

Wow...what a turn around.

Ngata with hands all over #68 and then draws the retaliation 15yd penalty.
A great kick return followed by a soft PI call.
This is a one possession game despite B'More doing absolutely nothingl

Thanks.
I hope we are saying similar things about Mayo, Crable, Guyton, and Co. in a few years.

Re: AFC Championship: Ravens @ Steelers game discussion (6:30pm EST / CBS)

Wow, good thing the Steelers rushed to the line to get THAT one off before the two minute warning... if the Ravens can get a score here, it'll be one HELL of a second half...

Re: AFC Championship: Ravens @ Steelers game discussion (6:30pm EST / CBS)

Huge punt there, Baltimore I think only has one TO so they're lookin at a long FG attempt at best here with potential for alot worse to happen :(

How much do Stealer fans suck?

If you heard that in Gillette, Gregg Easterbook would write a 25,000 word diatribe about the Satantic inhabitants of New England

Thanks.

Plus we have 2 2nd's this year, and should get at least 2 extra 2nd's when Cassel is dealt. Chance to really build a dominant D.

Re: AFC Championship: Ravens @ Steelers game discussion (6:30pm EST / CBS)

 nice drop

Re: AFC Championship: Ravens @ Steelers game discussion (6:30pm EST / CBS)

Um..... whew? Goodness gracious....

Re: AFC Championship: Ravens @ Steelers game discussion (6:30pm EST / CBS)

Wow that could have been the ballgame.

Re: AFC Championship: Ravens @ Steelers game discussion (6:30pm EST / CBS)

 nice drop

That makes Jabar's drop look like nothing.
Even Reche Caldwell didn't look this bad.
