The Bears are reported to be making a big play for Peppers and Ogunleye is all but gone and is an UFA,even if the Bears don't win the Pepper sweepstakes.
Is Ogunleye an option as a 33 year old vet who would probably would come in as a value priced player? or is he not a good fit?
I know he is a primary 4-3 DE but we will probably be mixing it up front this year in 3-4 and 4-3 sets - maybe he can do what Jason Taylor did and adjust to fit in as a situational OLB?.
With an average of 7 sacks a season prior to last season when he suffered a severe head injury,it appears he still has something left and not at a big cost, the problem may be his smaller size may not work here, but I don't know.
Thoughts?
