mort mentioned his name among i think 7 ppl
its obviously a long shot
if it happened-wow
but even for it to be considered is great news for our organization and for the respect the kraft family receives

This can't be. What political office did he ever hold?

Uh, wouldn't that be considered a conflict of interest?

I can see where it would be percieved with Dad the owner and Son a Commish, but it takes a lot of votes to get anything to happen in the NFL, so it would not be like the Pats are running the NFL from behind the scenes There were many owners mentioned as possible replacements. McCay from the ravens I think and Rooney from the Steelers are ones that come to mind.

Seems very unlikely. The Kraft business interests need someone to carry on when Bob Kraft is no longer active. It's probably a pretty strong probability that it would even be very difficult for Bob Kraft to replace Jonathon right now.

Johnathan staying in Foxboro depends on the amount of guaranteed money and bonus commitments Bob Kraft is willing to make towards him ...... :D :D

Jonathan is needed to help run the franchise. He does a lot of the work already while Bob eases toward retirement.

I say they should make Ralf Wilson the new commish. He is clearly the sharpest tool in that shed.

Hih??? seems an odd odd choice...

I saw an article today naming Bubba himself a possible replacement.

And Condoleeza Rice denied the rumor of herself being the successor.

That was my first thought. I guess they'd be changing that Pass Interference rule back (joking, shh).
