In a blockbuster deal, NBC traded an old cartoon charature to ABC for announcer Al Michaels.

As pointed out on Mike & Mike this morning. That sounds funny but the cartoon charature is worth more than the 4th round draft pick that KC gave the Jest for Herm Edwards. :singing:

Actually, I heard this yesterday, the cartoon charature is the one created by Walt or Roy back in the day they used to work for Universal (which now owns NBC), and it was the forerunner of Mickey Mouse. Once they left Universal Walt cretaed Mickey in Steamboat Willie and the rest is history. SO the charecter, although not worth anything for Universal, will probably make a come-back or at least belongs in the archives of Disney. I don't know who even remembered these facts, or thought to include them in a deal for Al Michaels, but it was pretty bright.
