let's hope for the W tomorrow and then get ready to stay home
I know some people wanted us to face Denver...but brady has never really played well there...If we can beat the Texans tomorrow I like our chances at home
Whoever comes out on top tomorrow is going to love that Baltimore just played a game like that. Double OT, Ravens gonna be gassed.
The Pats and Texans were the 2 best teams in the AFC, as far as I'm concerned. Denver used a weak schedule to build a gaudy record. It's fitting that either the NE or Houston will host the AFCCG.
not really, im still not sold on Houston. I think Denver is better than Houston and would have beaten them in an AFCCG.
We'll never know. Houston beat them in Denver earlier in the season.
Anyone else smelling chicory coffee and beignets?
I think a lot of gas was taken from the tank of the baltimore train with that long, emotional game. Helps us and or the Texans...whoever wins tomorrow
But i hope we win so then i can go to my 5th AFC champ game at the young age of 24...lets go pats!
No matter what the Baltimore team is coming in beat up and tired. What a game!!!
OMG could things be lining up any better for us? First the bye, now this. All we have to do is take care of business. Go Pats.
No one likes a bragger. . Still looking for my first at the ripe age of 35. C'mon football Gods, cut me some slack for once.
Every thing is lining up. Just gotta take care of business tomorrow.
Brooks Reed will be the difference in this game. He'll free up sWatt to terrorize Brady tomorrow. Texans 35 Patsies 21
Won't be an easy path to the super bowl. Ravens are building up quite a story there. Could see them pulling it off. Texans are no joke either. And damn packers getting blown out Anyone want to argue any other sport has a better playoffs?
Oh good, another troll.
Look....... we here on this forum have a great deal of respect for the Texans and it doesn't bode well for either your reception or the length of your stay here to come on and start tossing out names and belittling your hosts.
If you want some good and adult conversation regarding tomorrow's game, then be all means feel free to join in. But if all you want to do is throw out epithets and trash talk, then there are plenty of other places for you to go play.
Nope....... looks like this year there are some very good teams showing up. Should be a great game tomorrow at Gillette.
Sacrilege, I know, but I could see myself rooting for Bmore if we lose tomorrow.
So much heart.
I told you all that Denver was a fraud and it was proven.
I also said that the REAL AFC Championship will be played this Sunday as the Texans and Patriots are the best of a weak AFC.
Denver finishes the season with all it's losses to teams with winning records.....they will go down as the most overrated 13-3 NFL team ever...........errrr,I mean 13-4 :singing:
I think Houston is the worst team of the last eight playoff teams... but any given Sunday :/
I agree. If I had to choose a team to play out the remaining, I'd choose Houston. That being said, I DO NOT take them, or for that matter any team, for granted. I like our chances, but not a given.
Yup. That's why they play the game. It's one of the things that I like about football. Every team, no matter how good or bad, always has a chance. Many times, it isn't so much the skill that they play with, but how much heart they bring onto the field.
Some people = ESPN, NFL owners, CBS, Boston media, Denver media, media in general. Me? Sure, I would have enjoyed the hoopla by default.......but I could care less, ultimately, who the Patriots face as long as they win. If playing Denver helps the cause of the Patriots? Great, but that was not the case. The Patriots playing at home/not in the thin air of Denver is an advantage for the Patriots.
So suck it ESPN-CBS-NFL-Media
Hey..i gotta go to them when they come up..becasue once brady and BB are gone..who knows how many more i will be able to get to
Well, Grogan and Bledsoe got us to the big dance too. I think that New England will do just fine for several more years to come, at least through this decade.
They have a good stable of players and a good front office and owner, so the pieces are still there if the right coach comes along.
Houston beat the hell out of the Broncos this season.
And if the right QB comes along after brady
wasn't that when the broncos were kind of a mess early on
And and according to the texans forum...Jonathan Joseph has the flu or illness (probable)...if he has whats going around in this country..this will hurt him. It took me 13 days to get over the flu. Finally started to feel good 3 days ago. This flu is hitting bad
It was when they played.
i never knew it happened when they played
