As a Civil Servant of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, I would like to give thanks for:

-the emigration of our cousins to lands far, far away
-those less desirable cousins staying in those lands and not coming back
-the drop in tourism which leads to fewer of said cousins being loud, complaining and standing around the streets of London whilst the rest of us try to go about our business
-those cousins not exporting some of their more questionable products, such as grits, cinnamon toast and flavoured bacon

However, Her Majesty has (not) instructed me to give thanks for:

    -Sam Adams Beer
    -Football
    -Metallica and many others
-teh interwebs (oh, wait. A Brit invented that)
    - patsfans and patriotsplanet
-the introduction of coffee shops. They in themselves may not be the best quality but they have encouraged an increase in the supply of this essential product
-your supporting role in helping us to kick the Nazis' arses in WW2.

Finally, Her Majesty has (not) instructed me to apologise to the native Americans for the drop-off in Buffalo meat, the rather higher price of accommodation and the introduction of a (butchered version of a) foreign language.

    Sorry and thanks.

    Oh and happy thanksgiving.

Thanks Gomez. Never before in the history of the world have religious oppression and unfair taxation combined to such positive ends. America owes you its gratitude. ;) By the way, I propose a swap: Metallica and Sam Adams beer for a reunited Led Zeppelin and Guinness, straight up. Deal?

You haven't lived until you've had bacon, egg and black pudding on toast in a sandwich form. Has to be a runny egg though for added flavour.

Hey wow, that's 'a sandwich' sandwiched in between two completely unnecessary words. Did you do that on purpose?

I'm not having you didn't like it, you did really. Maybe you left "brown" ketchup off or baked beans, these too can often be a neccessity when preparing such delicacies.

Nothing better for a freezing winters morning down the docks with a mug of tea. Gomez wouldn't know about that though, they only have a cornflake factory in Manchester :D

Didn't have the chance to try it other ways but naked on a plate with veggies and eggs wasn't so hot.

I can imagine, that just lacks soul that meal. If your ever over again go into a backstreet cafe and ask for something proper. Forget the fancy restraunts, the local cafes do the best food in Britain.
