Going into the playoffs every year, even the 2003 and 2004 seasons where I was extremely confident in the Pats' chances to win, there was a sense of pressure, playoff tension. As soon as it was clear the Patriots would pull this off though, that pressure abated. Going into the playoffs now feels like a reward. And I've been on the "it means nothing without the ring" bandwagon for a while, but... this is a major accomplishment. It seemed impressive as they closed in, but realizing now that they really did run the table... it seems almost impossible in retrospect. No one has ever done it before, and no one is likely to do it again. Now, cap this thing off and win it all, and go down as the best ever.
