Four is just a bit much...overpay...

Cost of catching a number two receiver on his way up: one million dollars.
Cost of keeping a number one receiver: a few million dollars.

Cost of passing up an aging middle-class number 2 receiver who may or may not pan out:

Priceless.

There are some things money can buy. For everything else, there's the BeliCheque.â„¢

In all seriousness, it'll be interesting to see whether Price at 2.5M/year outperforms Givens, at 5M.

Price can still be a good receiver - but he needs someone to throw it to him. (I think his numbers were suppressed having Vick as a QB in Atlanta and will be even more so now)

This just shows the extent to which bad teams need to overpay to get even average players.

Apparently we offered a 1 yr deal for Price, but the bills are dumb enough to pay for 4 yrs... Oh well

I found that pretty funny, nice job on the hard work. I doubt Price outperforms Givens, he hasn't been able to stick on a lot of teams with questionable WRs, and plus he is going back to the JP Losman/Craig Nall/insert questionable QB here, situation.
