Not sure if this is the right place to reminisce about that game, but here goes.... Wow, just wow.... what a game! :rocker:

Superbowl XXXVIII Highlights

That was quite a while ago...

Hopefully some new memories to be made this year...

Pretty much every time the Patriots (in Brady era) were in the superbowl, the game always comes down to the wire. I could see a Patriots/Packers superbowl be like this game.

7-8-10 years seems like a lifetime, until you hit your 60's... Just like playing in only 5 superbowls in 11 seasons and in contention to play in a 6 in 12 seems like such a crashing disappointment when you obviously should have been expected to played in and win all of them. :ugh:

Look, the worst Pats defensive performance in the SB during the BB era, yet it was with the best defense of the BB era, and we won.

Can't get enough of Gil's calls. Legendary.

That game makes me miss Charlie Weis

Moral of the story, Pats win when Brady has the ball with time left instead of expecting the defense to win the game. The last two SBs have taught us that.

With all the bad luck the Pats have had in the last couple (Helmet Catch, Welker drop), you sometime forget about the good luck that they had in the SB wins. A kick out of bounds with a minute to play? WTF? How often does that happen?

Well to be fair, the defense got beat by a series of miracles on that last drive in SB42.
