Hopefully a non-issue once Democrats push it through. For me...the needs of the many are more important than the needs of the few. the few in this case are non-humans...this research needs to go on.
This issue makes so little sense for Bush I always assumed that perhaps the right wanted to keep this issue in the forefront to later use it in their attack on overturning Roe v Wade when the Supreme court was ripe to overturn it.
its kind of an example of how both sides are so exteme in their views that nothing can be done. the left wont budge on partial birth abortion and wont discuss any kind of dialogue regarding restrictions ( you can have a gun but there ARE restrictions. You can drive a car but there ARE limitations. But the left want to abort from the time the parents are thinking about having sex to the time the kid is in the second grade ( i know i know hyperbole)) And the right gets loony about not budging on stem cell research.
If your a Christian and your a Democrat your walking among your enemy's.
