Pay attention, man! Oliver Hoyte is the LB that impressed everyone in Gillette with his understadn of 3-4 responsibilities even though he played only a 4-3.

Great late round pick!

Some very good players left for day 2. I expect to draft Defense from here on out with the exception of maybe picking up quality back-up receiver in the 5th or 6th. Hass or Baskett would be my choices

I trust your judgement. I listed him because others did. I don't want to draft any safeties. I'm fine with the seven we have.

Slay wont even be drafted IMHO.

:) If you guys want him in the 4th or early 5th, feel free to add him to your boards. My board is basically this list without the defensive backs (unless they are drafted as a returner)

Dobbins would be solid for us.

I like this guy too. Great size for 3-4 ILB, productive, hard worker, solid tackler, tough....sounds like Patriot material. The Pats have had good luck with another Iowa St. guy, namely Ellis Hobbs.

i'd like havner, dobbins and avant with the three picks

I bet we take Mincey, from Florida, at some point later today.

If he had shaved 2 tenths off his pitiful 40 time, he'd already be gone, IMO. He a MONSTROUS hitter!

WR Wilson and OT McQuistan were drafted on the first day.

Some very good talent there. I'd nominate Montavious Stanley for a spot, too.

I agree. Two others they looked @ were Ray Edwards & Oshinowo.

That and if he recognized which spot he's supposed to be in on the field.

He's more fitted for LB and he needs to bulk up alot for that. He just doesnt know where to be out there.

from that list, i especially like...

Gilles - G
O'Callaghan - T
McClover - listed as a DE, will be a OLB
Blackmon - WR/CB/return man

I like Kai Parham, ILB Virginia, but I'm not sure he was on that list...

Remember Mincey reported that Belichick actually asked him, 'How'd you like to be Chad Jackson's teammate again?' after one of their pre-draft meetings :D

all we need now is BB to grab a K to get some nice angry debates going. :)
