Is that what a fake punt thrown for an INT is?
thats what i was thinking. going for a fake punt on 4th and 25 is nothing like going for the win in the fourth quarter on fourth and 2. sheesh
Since when does faking a punt deep inside your own territory on the first possession of the game equal a Belichick move?
and i thought musberger was better than that. he was just waiting to mention belichick negatively...
Yeah I totally forgot about Belicheick's trademark inside your own territory fake punt whatever its nothing to get bent out of shape about, back to the game!
Lol. I heard that too. I was like... What?
Yeah, I'm not normally in to college football, but with McCoy's injury it got some intreague added to it. Imagine how much that backup must be s**tin bricks right now.
"Oh, nothin big you just gotta come in in the freakin National Championship game."
Sorry, I posted quickly. That is what Brent Mustyburger called Saban's call for a fake punt thrown for an INT in their own territory.
Wow, 2 possesions 2 turnovers.
Surely not, I just thought it was weird and cheap.
Is there a game thread for this?
Clearly a fair catch situation...Alabama is lucky McCoy is out right now, well nice drop on 3rd down lol
Not that I see but this thread will work
Yup because Belichick goes calls a fake punt on 4th and forever inside his own territory on the first possession of a title game in which his team is clearly the more talented one. BSPN has spread to the college ranks eh? Bama is still gonna win this game.
Yeah lol it was a "out of nowhere" comment
Relax guys, he obviously meant by "Belichick move" that it was an unorthodox move by Saban.
Chill. No need to get your panties in a twist because people are commenting on dumb things announcers say.
Obviously Texas has damn good coverege because Bamas QB is holding onto forever vs the agressive defense..
