Can we clear up the "injury prone" myth right here and now, please?

To be honest with you - no you can't. There will be people who will continue to say this for the rest of their lives. Many of them who post on this board. Just letting you know...

Check out my Maroney is made out of glass thread for conformation.
Why would anyone wish to check that out...?? It's made of glass...

First, Maroney was readily available for the press after the game and even did a segment where he interviewed his family in a comedy segment for Sport Final last night. If he reagravated the injury, there is no way he would have had so much access to the media.

Second, the Pats were in a spread formation with Brady in the shotgun for most of the game. Even when Sammy Morris and Maroney were healthy, that is a package that usually has Kevin Faulk at the lone back.

Great response, thanks! I didn't see any of the postgame, very encouraging.

I guess there's limited wisdom in arguing with someone who cannot spell "aggravate," but due to the fact that Morris is out for the time being, they probably wanted to save him for teams that, you know, actually pose a challenge.

That reasoning is much more believable than your line, given there is nothing as of yet to indicate what you're saying is true.
So very true...but that makes so much more sense with the continuation of drivel.
There ARE those players that seem to be injured more early...and somehow outgrow it. Willie McGinest was like that in his first few years..worse than Maroney has been...will anyone (well almost anyone) say that he is injury prone?? Of course not..it MIGHT have been the case early that he HAD issues, but to label one like that can look very dumn and syupid. In Willie's case..he's played a lot stronger later in his career without injuries. But..some have to label and make rash statements that are not necessarily true in the long run.
