Would you want to play the Patriots in the playoffs? - TheGangGreen.com Message Board
The question was asked, do you want to play the Patriots again in the playoffs and 57% said "yes." Another similar poll on that site has it closer to 80%. I think these guys like pain and humiliation and are probably going to their underground dominatrix tonight.
Over the last two games played at Foxboro, the Patriots have beaten the Jets by a combined score of 76-17.
I guess fans do reflect their teams: stupid, arrogant, ****y.
Let's be reasonable: if a certain team gives the Pats a lot of trouble, I don't see a lot of fans WANTING to play them again with elimination on the line. Personally I'm hoping we can avoid Baltimore for the simple reason they beat at our house last year, not to say I don't think we can win, but I'll root for other scenarios. In fact, I'll just go ahead and root for a Jacksonville, Tennessee, St. Louis playoff path. The trophy wouldn't look any different.
