Antbody think for one minute that through 4 rounds the Pats would have taken RB, WR, TE, TE/FB and a K?

I'm a little shocked.

Here are the blurbs on our picks per msnbc:

1 / 21 Laurence Maroney RB 5-11 210 New England
Although he's not a big receiving threat, Maroney is a patient runner who has a knack for finding holes behind his blockers and exploding for big plays.

2 / 36 Chad Jackson WR 6-1 205 New England
Jackson is a solid, reliable target, having caught a pass in 23 straight games, and he retains the ability to catch the deep ball, having Florida's longest reception of the year at 80 yards. Jackson also saw minimal duty as a punt returner, taking back 4 punts for 18 yards.

3 / 86 David Thomas TE 6-3 245 New England
Thomas lacks the size to be an NFL tight end, so he probably will be looked at as an H-back, where he can become a very effective weapon within the right offense. He shows good speed and solid quickness and agility, all benefits for an H-back. Thomas is a crisp route runner and shows a good burst off the line of scrimmage, in and out of his cuts, and after the catch. His athleticism and leaping ability go well with his long arms and big, soft hands, and are another reason why he can get mismatches. Thomas uses his body very well to shield, especially when he is covered by defensive backs. He gives good effort while blocking, and take good angles and always seems to be in position. However, he will be consistently overmatched if asked to play tight end due to his lack of size. He could end as a great fit for a team that loves to utilize an H-back.

4 / 106 Garrett Mills TE 6-2 232 New England
Mills Mills is a versatile player and lined up at H-back, tight end, fullback and special teams. He is a solid worker and a very good blocker with quality vision.

4 / 118 Stephen Gostkowski K 6-2 200 New England
Some scouts will question his leg strength because he didn't have to prove himself much in college, but what Gostkowski did prove is that he was one of the best kickers in college football the last four years. He kicked off at Memphis for four years as well, and some team will realize that this guy has produced consistently in college, and is worthy of a late-round selection in this year's draft.

How many LBs and DBs did we have on IR last year? In some ways, we have a whole new class of fresh defensive players coming back, like Gay and Guss Scott and Claridge.

None of these guys is a major sutd, but if we could not move up for a Michael Huff anyway.
