Libyans are very conscious that they are all viewed as terrorists.

A good move from them to prove that those who killed Americans are minorities.

    Good on them.

I'm surprised that Patradomous, 13 or Triumph, who normally are the first ones to report any and all demonstrations in Arab countries, didn't post this first.

Pro-democracy protesters overtake Islamist group's HQ in Benghazi

Pro-democracy protesters overtake Islamist group's HQ in Benghazi - CNN.com

Benghazi, Libya (CNN) -- Ten days after four Americans were killed in their Libyan city, hundreds of pro-democracy demonstrators marched in Benghazi and overtook the headquarters of a radical Islamist group tied to the attack.

The protesters took to the street Friday, loudly declaring that they -- and not those behind last week's deadly attack -- represent the real sentiments of the Libyan people.

As militia members fled, the protesters torched a vehicle and took over the headquarters of Ansar al-Sharia without firing a single shot. They also claimed to have freed at least 20 captives held in the building.

I think the administration, specifically Obama, needs to acknowledge this to show his approval and support....that he stands behind the masses.

Why would you like a report on the national holiday declared in Pakistan today so they could riot against America or the pronouncement from their President declaring that International laws be written prohibiting any criticism of Islam and calling on the film makers to be put to death?

Are yo aware of the number of anti American demonstrations across the Muslim world today?

Personally, I like the part that reports the tens of thousands that are standing up to the militias. The anti-American and free speech part we have to work on but that they are willing to stand against the crazies is encouraging

I wonder about retribution for the leaders of these demonstrations..

Fortunately there are those who remember who helped them against Gaddafi..

    Even Newsmax is reporting this...

Too late, even if he did. Those Americans will stay dead in spite of how many teleprompter speeches he subjects us to. Plus, you have to understand that it isn't his words that matter, it's his actions, or in this case, his inaction.

Another gasbag speech by him or our only impeached President won't change the fact that the Liar-In-chief who 'leads' this country right now did NOTHING to shore up security at our embassies on 9/11, in spite of the warnings. But hey, what happens when he's in Vegas stays in Vegas.

And the lemmings keep blaming Bush for all of our problems, or better yet, Ronald Reagan. That one was priceless.

there is no mention of Reagan in this thread..

Also Clinton was not impeached, as much as you want to dwell on his "sexual proclivities and urges" he was not..

No one is saying it will bring anyone back. I'm not looking for a magic speech that cures the region but a show of support is a start.

So nothing Obama does is OK with you. You're done with him. You can't be open to anything and that's that.

    Got it.

    Have a seat.
