The 1st Presidential debate is on October 3rd. I'm looking forward to it.

Don't forget that Scott Brown will debate Elizabeth Warren on October 1st at the Tsongas Center at UMass-Lowell*

I'm really interested to see how Mitt performs. I remember Ted Kennedy destroying him in the Senate debates back in 1994.

*That was a shameless plug for my alma-mater :)

I'm sticking with my early prediction - Obama's election to lose.

People will vote for Obama and against Obama and a few will vote for Mitt.

I think the debates will swing more undecided voters to Obama than Romney.

If after 3 years you haven't decided to vote for Obama a debate isn't going to change your mind.

If Romney makes a giant blunder he could however disqualify himself.

I probably won't even watch their positions are on their websites.

LOL - better the devil you know than the devil you don't. Experience does and should count for a lot in this election - we can't keep starting over.

There are millions and millions of voters who haven't decided who to vote for. The debates will have a big impact on the outcome of this election.

It's said the challenger has the advantage in the first debate because his positions and record are not as well known. My guess is there will be no knock out punches in the first debate. Obama will have the advantage on personality, but Rmoney will land a few hard punches.

Not sure you have to wait for a debate, the incompetency of Mitt showed through in the past 48 hours, complete with a smirk...

    God forbid he become president..

Don't worry, God has already decided how things will turn out, these debates don't mean sh1t, America is at it's turning point and there is nowhere to go but down, America is no longer America our country is just becoming another European violent dump, Obama will probably win the election then he will be off and running, he is a Socialist and he has been desperately waiting for his second term, his plans are, TO DESTROY AMERICA AS WE KNOW IT.

GOOD LUCK, REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT, I WILL NOW PRAY FOR YOUR CHILDREN.

Debates will be even. Events in the middle east will determine everything.
Obama hates doing anything that will offend his radical muslim brothers. Thats who he is at heart and it shows through.
Maybe finally everyone will see him for who he really is.

    Thats the thing.

People already see who Paul Ryan really is, a plain out liar. Most republicans don't trust either of them from what I've read. Atleast we already know what kind of people they really are.

Of course, we've all heard, "all politicians are liars"... but none as blatent as Ryan.

Oh its going to be great! Like watching a slow motion wreak lol

Mr.O is gonna wipe the floor with Silver Spoon! Only way Mitt wins is if Mr.O doesn't show up! Other then that its gonna be a clean sweep for Mr.O....

What I worry about is 2016, Biden is too old and the Dems will have to pick a new candidate and who knows who that will be! It will be crazy times for sure...

Game over GOP, next time pick someone that can take a stand and have the balls not to grovel for votes, instead earns them.......by having a stance on issues not just what sounds good at the time.

GOP, you could of picked Paul and I would of voted for the first time,so would a lot of people.....instead you went with a twit........

The 1st Brown/Warren debate was earlier tonight so I messed up on stating that the 1st debate would be at UMass-Lowell. The debate at UML will be broadcast on MSNBC.

I caught the first 10 minutes of the debate tonight and all Scott Brown talked about was the Indian Heritage of Warren. He demanded numerous times that Warren release her personal records to prove she didn't get preferential treatment to get her jobs.

Brown went on and on about personal disclosure.

Riddle me this. Has Scott Brown demanded Mitt Romney release his personal records?

If true, that as disappointing, as that topic really at the end of the day doesn't mean anything for policy.

I don't agree on every issue with Scott Brown, but he has my support because he has personal views (and votes them) but also isn't afraid to buck the party line and work to get things done.

At this point I just want politicians to work together to improve the our country and honestly I don't think Ms. Warren would do that.

I like Scott Brown but he should be an Independent. For some strange reason he keeps that (R) next to his name. If he got rid of the (R) maybe he could vote without the GOP machine breathing down his neck.

    F him

His attack on Warren tonight about her heritage was straight out of the GOP playbook. He is much better than that but chose to go down that road.

I don't know who will win the debates or who will win the election. But obama will have some problems (not saying Romney won't). obama has a lot on the record that he's never been challenged on that he can't just smile his way through. He called Bush unpatriotic for adding $.5T a year to the debt; obama has added more than $1T a year. obama said he'd cut the deficit by 50%. Instead he's doubled it. If Romney is average or better, obama will have some awkward moments and poor answers because there are no good answers to his failings.

Brown owned Warren. It wasn't even close.

What??? What the hell do you think?
The question of character was directed at both candidates.SB questioned her character because SHE is the one who checked the box at Harvard that she was a person of color.Has nothing but some family story to back it up and refuses to release her records at Harvard to see if "A" She took someonelses place because of it. "B" If she gained any other advantage because of it.FAIR GAME.
Speaking of checking boxes. As she whined and howled all night about taxes SB asked her why she didn't check the box to pay more taxes in this state. LMAO exposed again.
So lets see she checked the box to take advantage of minority status. But didn't check the box on her tax return so she could pay her "fair share".
Thats straight out of the democrat playbook.

Scott Brown owned her and it wasn't even close.
