    Same ****, different day.

What have you actually done to stop this war that you say is so wrong?

Instead of posting the same rants with the same slogans on this message board every day, why don't you send letters every day to all 50 Senators and all 435 Congressmen expaining why you think its so wrong. Maybe you'll convince some of them.

Use the same terms and slogans that you use here. That should win them over.

If I felt that way, which I don't, I would do something like that.

Is that your way of honoring the dead? Why not just say, "It's a terrible loss," or something like that?

Well, PFIEL, why not redirect this thread as a tribute to the deceased? Just because an anti-war person posts it doesn't mean he takes pleasure in it. In fact, many people, both for and against the war, see the loss of American soldier's lives as the most painful aspect of the war. I guess you're not one of them?

Yeah it ******* sucks, but the way mikey and NEM celebrate it for political gain is disgusting. They are no better than Fred Phelps.

NO, Patters, it's not my way of honoring the dead.

I honor every fallen soldier, every last one of them. I hope that there are no more. But, I believe that the mission must be compeleted. It would be a diaster for our country and for the world if we didn't.

I don't honor that pig Mikey. He post a new thread everytime there is a dead soldier and rejoices in it becasue it fits his plitical agenda.

Show me one thread that Mikey has posted that he had honored our soldiers for completing a sucessful mission without any casualties.

Just show me one (1) and I will publically apologize to him on this forum and ban myself from posting on this forum. Just one (1). Of all the posters on this board, he is the only one that I have on my ignore list. But,I can still see the thread titles that he posts.

And, if you as a mod, think that I have crossed the line by calling him a pig for posting threads celebrating the deaths of our soldiers. If you think, as a mod, think that I've crossed the line by stating that I think he jerks off with every report of a dead soldier. Just PM me and I will ban myself from this forum.

What I've said about him is what I truely and honestly think and I don't regret it and I don't take it back.

Mikey and NEM are pivot men in their respective circle jerks over dead troops.

Protein makes them angry I suppose because they're swallowing an awful lot.

That's really a different issue. I too honor every fallen soldier. Those I know and have known have been mostly sincere people wanting to do right and improve themselves; they have not been caught up in politics likes those of us in this forum. I may disagree with the mission they're assigned to, but I have a lot of respect for the vast majority of them. When they die, I think of their families that simply wanted their child to become a good person, and instead end up with with a corpse. It's terribly sad, and if I can't fully justify a war, I am fully opposed to it for the sadness and destruction it creates.

If a conservative posted what Mikey did, it would be seen as a tribute. I think Mikey posts it as a way of condemning the war, not as a way of celebrating the price of war.

There might well be one. If there is, someone who wants you to apologize will post it. I for one would urge you to have a more rounded view of Mikey's post.

C'mon, you know you crossed the line, but you're not the first and not the last to do so. My only issue with people crossing the line is when everyone starts doing it and the whole forum to turns into a flame war. I think both FTW and I oppose banning anyone except in the most extreme circumstances. That said, it helps when people calm down and either ignore people or challenge them in a respectful way.

I assume you did not mean what you wrote literally, but you could have said in a more dignified way, such as, "Mikey seems to get great pleasure out of the death's of our soldiers." Even that would go a great way toward keeping this forum civilized.

NEM, we've been over this before and I'm sure we'll go over it again. If you want to get down and dirty with the name calling and flaming then we can have a flame war seeing as how Patters is content to sit idly by and let you spew as much venom as you want no matter how vile at whomever you want.

You wanna have at it, we'll have at it NEMMY Boy.

Can't you use bigger and darker red letters to make your point. Maybe if you use Crayola's you might get somebody's attention.

    1. I'm not being silent. I supported the war before we invaded and I support it now. I've said so many time so how am I being silent?

If you supported WWII were you a "troop Killer"? If you didn't, were you a patriot?

    2. I was very happy when we killed Zowkowi (sp), or Pile Of **** as I call him, and stated so. There's my one (1). I know ther are several more but you asked for one (1). How about yours and Mikey's? Wait, I only said Mikey so you don't have to state all of yours..

    3. You just admitted that repeatedly posting dead soldier theads fits Mikey's political agenda. That varifies what I said. And, anyone who does that is a pig in my honest and heartfelt opinion.

I feel really special. He replied to my post in really big red letters.

He only replied to your's in regular size black letters.

Does that mean I struck a nerve?

And all you do is post a "." once you make a topic about 3 soldiers dying. If you actually cared and wanted to show respect and if that was what this topic was made for(which it wasnt), you would have actually said something about it, not just for your political gain as PFIEL said. Ofcourse, like Patters said, why not respond by saying "Its a terrible loss" instead of saying nothing and actually proved you cared. It was entirely for polticial gain and nothing more. Maybe mikey should show some respect to the troops.

NEM always reacts the same way. Never changes. He'll start shouting at his computer, while jamming his fingers into his keyboard about how we have NO RESPECT for the troops or something ridiculous like, "YOU DONT CARE IF THE SOLDIERS DIE" and bla bla bla bla bla. Ofcourse we care about it, ofcourse we hate to see people dying, and people dying for us. But NEM will just jump the gun on you and react the way he always does with his CAPS lock on plus the biggest size for his fonts.

You know what, its disgusting for him to say "Your a poor excuse for an American!". He doesnt know any of us personally, and he'll just assume you hate the troops and you dont give a damn about them or if they die. NEM, thats frigging disgusting and tasteless, insulting people if they are tired of you and mikey's crap for political gain and a way to bait those people in here so you can shout, "HOW MANY SOLDIERS ARE ENOUGH FOR YOU?!?! HOW MANY!??!".

Give me a break NEM, stop being so childish all the time.

Are you comparing this police action to WWII? That's pretty stupid, not to mention a complete insult to the men who died in our last honorable war against a threat to national security. Luckily, very few of them are likely to read your comparison.

Some people don't think that we should have gone to war againts Germany. We were the aggressors againts them. We used our war ships to escort convoys for a nation that was at war with Germany. That is considered a hostile act.

Roosevelt was looking for an excuse to go to war againts Germany and the people of the country were againts it up until Pearl Harbor. Look it up.

I'm not one of those who think that. And, Hitler foolishly did declare war on us. That was a very stupid thing to do on his part. If he hadn't, there was not enough support here at home for a war with Geremany.

I was just asking the question but should have been a little more specific in saying "prior to Hiltler declaring was on us".

But I was just asking the question. I was not making a comparison.

Wow...defending what the Nazis were doing prior to our involvement in WWII is about the most radical right wing BS Ive heard yet. Its even crazier than trying to draw comparisons between Iraq and WWII.

Sip some more KoolAid righties, you're delusions are really showing.

Sorry, but no one is defending the Nazi's like you are defending Saddam and the baathists. The left wing BS is that Iraq was some peaceful little country that was just minding their own business until the big bad US got there, what a crok of sh!t!

No. The left wing view is that containment was working quite well, and that there was no legitimate reason to go to war. No one complained when Bush rigorously enforced containment before invading Iraq.
