The Celtics streak of bad luck, which began with the death of Len Bias, and continued through the premature diminishment of Larry Bird due to his spinal stenosis, on through the death of Reggie Lewis, the embarrassment of ML's last season followed by the hiring of Rick Fraudino, the failure of the ping pong balls to fall for Tim Duncan, and on and on through all these years,

has finally ended.

And by the way, there never has been a Celtic championship in a building not named the Garden.
 
I almost forgot about Reggie Lewis,I loved that guy - Hope he is enjoying this victory in heaven R.I.P.
