2015 Pro Days

Antoine Everett is a 6'3", 323lb OL from McNeese State (projected to OG in the NFL). According to Gil Brandt, he ran 4.62 and 4.65 at his pro day.

Double

If true, that's a full tenth of a second faster than Lane Johnson and Terron Armsted at 20lbs heavier!
Only one TE ran faster than that at the combine!

Yes it's a pro day so blah, blah, proceed with caution, but even so, that's spectacular. Unfortunately I have neither seen him play or seen any other results from his combine.

Dane Brugler says he's one of the two best combine snubs in the draft along with Shaq Mason and Jeremiah has given him a draft able grade too - he's probably (edit: was probably) an early-mid day three grade according to Brugler and Jeremiah. Kevin Weidl likes him too:

Big fan of McNeese OG Antoine Everett on tape. Strong anchor. Plays on feet. Smart and tough. Has starter traits.

He's clearly on the NFL radar.

Wow...I really can't imagine that can be right. No other reports have him as a super-heavyweight sprinter!

That said, Everett seems like a legitimate prospect. He apparently dominated at LT against Nebraska (minus Randy Gregory, granted), and his pro day was very well attended. You can watch a snippet of his workout at 24:55 of this video: http://www.kplctv.com/story/2861778...oine-everett-the-stand-out-at-mcneese-pro-day

Athletically there's a JJ Watt in this class

JJ Watt.

6'5", 290
4.84
34 reps
37" VJ
120" BJ
6.88" 3-cone

Kristjan Sokoli, Buffalo, DT

6'5", 290
4.84 forty
31 reps
38" VJ
119" BJ
7.19 3cone

Incredible similarity aside from the 3cone.

Had a quick look at some Khalil Mack tape, Sokoli plays NT in a 3 man front so there's not much to see. Will look a little more in depth at another time. The Patriots were present for the pro day so it's a name worth keeping in mind because that's some top notch athleticism.

Edit: 34" arms for Sokoli, also exactly the same as Watt.

Credit to Zach Whitman on twitter for noticing the comparison.

According to Zach Whitman, Sokoli had a 1.55 10 yard split. That's faster than any DL at the combine including Beasley, Harold and Hunter. Heck, it's only 3/100 slower than Julian Edelman. even if that number is a touch exaggerated, Sokoli is a freak of an athlete. Please BB, just give this guy a shot - there's very little to lose with a 7th rounder.

Mix between the one we aint talk about and the one we do talk about ?

He's certainly an impressive mover for that size. No idea what he's like as a blocker.

He wont need to block much to be better then the one we aint talk about.

As I'm reading this, I'm imagining you on a swing on your back Porch, wearing suspenders and squinting at the Sun, of course, and saying all this through a Chaw of Tobacco...And I can't help but wonder if there's a Banjo nearby. "Yeah, Hernandez...He wasn't much'f a Blocker, that'un. But we don't talk about him."

So this was wrong...and then some. He ran between 5.7 and 5.75 in the forty and had an 8.5 3cone.

As Emily Litella would say: that's different.

Interesting linebacker prospect:

Wyoming OLB Mark Nzeocha (6-2 3/10, 238) wowed scouts today in personal pro day....6 months after suffering a torn ACL. Nzeocha ran a 4.52 (in 40), broad jump: 10'11", vertical jump: 39. Fluid in movement those in attendance said.
