have you taken a look at this thing recently?

    New England Patriots

Home: Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers

Away: Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans,Baltimore Ravens, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks

I KNOW all things change, but based on recent history, this may be the easiest schedule I have ever saw the pats play. Looking at the home games, San Fran and the Texans are the toughest, and they are at home which are rarley losses. The away games, looks like the Ravens will be the only tough match up.

Looks like our biggest debate with folks next year will be explaning how it was still a good accomplishment running the table with such an easy schedule.

Especially if Bernard Pollard plays-Wonder whose knee/ankle he'll take out.

    #37 Jersey

Looks favorable. I can see another 13-3 or 12-4 season. Of course it is a long way from kickoff and a million things could change. Who knows, Manning may end up in MIA or NY. However if the pats address some needs in the off season (Pass rush, corner and a big WR that can go long) they may have decent run in them.

Oh i agree, I was saying, with all things being equal, the pats have a good shot at beating all these teams. Ofcourse players get signed, traded and what not, balls bounce one way, refs blow a call. But just a quick glance, its a cake walk.

    #87 Jersey

Avoiding: Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, Mike Vick, Tony Romo, Philip Rivers, Andy Dalton, Cam Newton, (possibly Peyton if he goes to the Redskins), etc.

The quarterback matchups will be so lopsided in every game we play, it will take the team, or Brady, to have a bad day to lose.

    Two losses in 2010:
@ Jets, strong team back then, their defense and offensive line has crumbled to an extent.
@ Browns, team implosion, horrible team effort.

    Three losses in 2011:
@ Bills, team implosion, 4 Brady INTs, bad defense, still lost by just 3
@ Steelers, Roethlisberger, no lopsided edge in QB.
Giants, Eli Manning, no lopsided edge in QB.

I just don't see us losing three games next year, with another chance at perfection :D

No doubt that this is an easy schedule, but going to Seattle is always tough. Not to mention we still have to play the niners, texans and ravens. I wouldn't start the 19-0 chants just yet folks...

    Disable Jersey

The schedule looks great now, but a healthy and still capable Peyton Manning (if such becomes the case) could impact it. But, I have mentioned the possibility of a very rosy outcome if the Patriots can shore up/upgrade a few positions.

I want 19-0 now! All the misery the past few years will be washed with a perfect season! My only fear is again going 18-0 into the SuperBowl and then losing - that would honesty KILL ME!

But boy - a 19-0 would make me forget EVERYTHING!!!!!

Lets do it! Go Pats! Do it for Giselle!!!

As it stands now, yes, I agree. The other teams will certainly look to improve as well. Even still, a first round bye is a real possibility on paper here the first week in February. You have to figure the '12 Pats will be better than the '11 vintage.

I know it is not a requirement for posting in a forum but I do try to be consistent wherever possible. Given my recent comments about how much I think the rules changes of the past few years make it possible for more spectacular plays from the quarterback position and less emphasis on quarterback game management and consistent play from the quarterback position I would worry about Broncos, Niners and Texans but those all all home games. Again based on my view of quarterback play in this era I would worry about the Rams which is an away game.

That Ravens defense will be one year older still and I don't see much help coming for their offense unless by draft.

I am really concerned about Pollard though not just in his games against us but because he is such a cheap shot artist and the league really does not have rules in place to deal with the Pollards. Run sweeps at him and force him to take down the interference about five times in a row may be the only way to deal with him.

Really, people are looking for any reason for optimism at this point.

I could see losses to any or all of Ravens, Jets, Seahawks, Bills, 49ers, Texans, Broncos, and yes even the Colts, who always play us tough, just because of mutual hatred.

Agree that the 2012 schedule looks favorable at this point, but I do not concern myself with 19-0 so much as having Mr. Kraft hoist the Lombardi trophy to the firmament in Boston next February.

I've got to admit, the first thing I thought when I saw that schedule is that we have a real shot at going 19-0. Obviously its still unlikely, but if we can make a splash in the offseason (Mario Williams) and draft well, I don't see why we couldn't. We also don't know how this team will react to the superbowl loss. We didn't really get a chance to see how they would respond in 2008 because of the Brady injury. I could see this team coming out on a mission and proving all the doubters wrong.

If you are going to go 19-0 this would be there year. The AFC powerhouses are older and slower now and we are playing the NFCs worst division.

I don't think I can mentally or physically go through another undefeated season though :)

Easiest schedule we have had in a while for sure....things will change over the course of the off season but I think an 11/12 win season should be easily reachable.
