    It's pretty hard to defend Christianity in America today if you try it won't be long before before "the haters" are all over you and turning you into some kind of fanatical nut.

    I'm a Christian and I regularly go to church (Catholic). However, I think people are reading too much into these movies. They are entertainment. End of the world scenarios have been part of movie storylines since movies have started being made. Sometimes these images get shown to get an emotional reaction from the audience. Usually at the end of the movie, things usually have a way of working out positively. They are just movies, folks.
