hey, adalius thomas and Brady have something in common...

if you guys really want to look at past drafts then look at the 1998 draft. Pats picked Robert Edwards 4 picks before the Freak.

Bledsoe and Moss would have been something to watch.

And to think we were one pick away from taking him.

Stupid Antwan Harris. :p

The same Antwan Harris who helped the Pats out a ton in the playoffs in 2001? ;)

How the hell did the Jets get four first rounders?

I literaly just glanced at that page from the draft... and I got to say what a weird draft it was. There were alot of good picks late. Check this out:

149 Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila DE San Diego State Green Bay Packers

153 Dante Hall RB Texas A&M Kansas City Chiefs

156 Sammy Morris RB Texas Tech Buffalo Bills

And we never ever would have won a SuperBowl

I'll take Brady. He's MUCH better at deciding when to throw deep and avoiding the gratuitous drive killing, game losing pick.

I'm missing your point. Bledsoe was the QB in 1998. If we drafted Moss in 1998 instead of Edwards i'm saying.

Tony Romo was undrafted. Say what you want but he's better than a lot of "sure things".

To add to that I should note that apperantly BB was evaluating draft prospects based off of Bobby Grier's scouting information, as he didn't have time to properly prepare for the draft. That explains the uneven quality of this draft.

And to the OP, couldn't you have Google'd this?

He should have just turned the list upside down.:D

2000 NFL Draft - New England Patriots

If you could rewrite history ........

3rd Round J.R. Redmond - New England Patriots selection
3rd Round Laveranues Coles WR Florida State

5th Round Dave Stachelski - New England Patriots selection
5th Round Sammy Morris RB Texas Tech

5th Round Jeff Marriott - New England Patriots selection
5th Round Adalius Thomas DE/LB Southern Mississippi

6th Round David Nugent - New England Patriots selection
6th Round Rob Meier - DE/DT Washington

7th Round Casey Tisdale - New England Patriots selection
7th Round Danny Clark LB Illinois

Their own, one from the Pats for BB, and two from Tampa Bay for Keyshawn Johnson...

I don't feel quite as badly about losing a first round pick in '08 now!

Bledsoe + Moss = NO Superbowls

Why?
Nimrod Bledsoe Krishnas would have won the day and Brady would never have been. Bledsoe was seriously flawed as a clutch QB.

Kudos to Moe Lewis Patriots Franchise MVP.

Bledsoe got the Patriots to a Super Bowl without Moss, and might well have led the team to victory if the special teams unit had bothered to show up. How that somehow translates to his being unable to win WITH Moss is certainly an illogical assumption.
