Re: 2 te -- 2 wr - 1 rb

That seems like the best set for our whole playoff run.

Re: 2 te -- 2 wr - 1 rb

Faulk and Watson along with other players such as Baker and Aiken need to step up. I have faith in Faulk its the others that concern me a lil.

That should be our formation the rest of the way. As bad as losing Welker is, if any good can come from it is to see less 5 wide

The more Brady is under center the better from here on in.

weren't fred taylor and sammy out by this time? do we couldn't use sammy at fb?

I tend to think Sammy Morris and Chris Baker are at least as good football players as whoever the third WR would be. So yeah, those formations have a lot of merit even irrespective of opponent.

Positional groupings for Patriots' offense - Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

This is the positional breakdown for the Falcon game W/O Wes Welker.

"The tight ends were a big part of this game plan, as evidenced by 50 snaps coming with multiple tight ends on the field (60 percent). It wasn't necessarily a grind-it-out approach as there were times when the Patriots would have their 2 WR/2 TE/1 RB package on the field and actually split the tight ends out wide, with receivers Randy Moss and Sam Aiken in the slots."
